At DEN to see if Woodard gives us a great game for revenge's sake. It's not really a make or break game for us but I am curious to see how we can do against a D as solid as DEN's.

All good early as Holzer is ripping off 1st downs and the passing game converts the 3rd when needed on our way to 6. The 3rd down scramble comes up short for DEN and we get some nice gains after a big KR but throw a 97 yard pick 6 in true FAR fashion. Back on O we overcome a hold and keep getting 10+ on the ground and pick up a couple 3rds in the air until inside the 10 so settle for a FG.

Another 3andO from DEN but we match them as they stand us up on 3rd and short. DEn finally wakes up on O but a big sack on 3rd leads to a long FG being blocked. We dink our way isnide the 10 again but are held once more to 3. DEN fumbles the KR and we recover but again are stifled inside the RZ so go up 9. Nothing for DEN in the hurry up and we get a 47 yard FG attempt off but K Ponce slices it.

Another dominant defensive performance so far for us but just a 9 point advantage.

DEN gets a long FG adn we come up short on 3rd and 14. Woodard works the intermediate range to get them into the orange zone quick and they run their way to a TD and 1 point lead. We can't convert but our pressure pushes them back and off the field. We grind out a couple 3rd and shorts and get Fence up to 18 targets but once again are stifled inside the 10.

Our rush wins the series for us again and Fence continues to protagonize our offense as we settle for yet another FG are up 5 with 5 minutes left. DEN loses another fumble on a short completion and this time we grind out the TD to nearly seal it. DEN battles downfield to our 4 but can't get it in.

Well we win on another great defensive effort especially on 3rd down. Will use this bye to hopefully look at our RZ woes as this shoulda been a 20 point victory even with the pick 6.

We won on pass rush / protection on both sides in a big way especially on 3rd it would seem.

The division has the top 3 teams in the power rankings so we there is a lotta football left for us this season for sure.

Close game all the way through. We added 3 to go up 13-10 at half time. In the 3rd I thought we had put the game away going up 27-10 but Womble drove your team back and tied it up leaving Hughes 1:27 left on the clock. Kemp came up big with a 30 yd catch in double coverage and the rookie kicker closed it out with a 42 yd field goal, 30-27.

Kemp keeps coming up with big plays, especially at the right time. Wish the defense could do a little more. Gonna have to see what tweaks we can make there.

We started off fast, but forgot there's a second half. Luckily we held on. Fumbles could have cost us.

This was a huge game for us. Going into the bye over 500 after an 0-3 start is the best we could hope for and gives us some great momentum for the second half of the season.
