We just couldn't get it done against you guys despite Clements being sidelined. Cannot really blame our running game but Womble just keeps coming up short. He could use a better receiving corps to be sure but I would like to think he is good enough to elevate mediocre receivers to be better. Our secondary continues to be our weakness and we are usually much improved if we can just get a lead and run the ball.

Our season prospects look pretty bleak with our record being so poor through the 1st half. I keep thinking we are so close to winning every game but we somehow manage to lose most of them. We have the look of the sort of team that could spoil anbody's playoff hopes but have no chance of being there ourselves.

Great game, Smitty. Pretty much thought the game was over when we were up 24 points with just over 10 minutes to go in the 4th. Somehow you scored 3 TDs AND converted the 2 point convo on all 3. I am fairly confident in all my years of playing FOF that I've never seen a team convert 3 straight 2 point conversions in a 4th quarter before. Ortiz needed to pull another rabbit out of his hat, and he did just that. He led the team down the field for the game winning FG.

Schedule doesn't get any easier for us. Next up? We got Shreveport. Ugh...
