Notched win number 10 and we have nearly locked up the division with 5 games remaining. However, our remaining schedule is pretty tough so wouldn't be surprised to see us stumble a bit down the stretch.

Ugh, terrible offensive showing against Durham. Only 126 total yards gained, QB only completed 12 out of 29 attempts and was sacked 6 times. Our defense has remained spectacular but it doesn't matter if we can't score any points.

Beautiful autumn day in Fargo hosting Cleveland, forgot to put Terhorst in so backup Fitchie will have to do his best. Both teams were without their stud C so I guess that is only fair.

We continued our streak of great opening drives getting a FG and then both Os bogged down for a few series and they had us pinned at our 8 but we ground it out to go up 10.

A big gain got them to midfield and they converted a 4th and 3 from our 40 before settling for a long FG. We had a 50 yard gain wiped off due to a hands to the face penalty. And CLE ran a textbook 2 minute drill to tie things up at the half.

After forcing a 3-and-out we got a deep ball to get us to midfield but missed the long FG shortly thereafter. CLE couldn't take advantage of the field position but had us at our 6. Another 1st down deep pass got us out of trouble and we switched the field with CLE taking over at their 7. 4 midrange gains had them in our end and they went up 7 to close out the 3rd quarter.

Penalties helped us get down the field after a couple punts but we settled for a short FG inside of 6 minutes. Our D held up and on a 3rd and 15 we converted with our cover-3 beating route combination (haha if only the sim was that realistic) and had a 1st and goal from the 8 with less than 2 minutes left and after 3 incompletions got our TD to go up 3 and this time CLE couldn't convert in the hurry up.

Very very tight game that was jsut begging for a big TO at some point but it never came. The big gains by us allowed us to come back which is not our normal MO.

Our run game was underwhelming without the stud C but our inconsistent WR Ferguson had a great game and the backup QB played a good game converting 6/13 on 3rd down and 3/4 on deep balls.

Our run D was pretty bad and consistently put CLE in position to convert, fortuanately the pass D was excellent wiht 7 passes defensed and holding the overperforming McCormick and that stable of weapons to a less than 50% completion rate and just 1/6 deep without any backbreaking YAC plays that sink us sometimes.

Nice win to maintain the pole position on the 2 seed albeit just by tiebreaker so plenty could happen. With runaway 1 seed Texas up next and 4 key players still P/Q we will have some tough decisions to make.

Week 12 Honolulu at Boston

Well that's exactly the kind of game we like to see. Straight domination. Boston had a nice first drive and then Honolulu exploded with 39 unanswered points.
Our offense punted the first drive but wouldn't be stopped the rest of the 1st half with 26 points scored on 5 straight offensive drives. We also had a punt return TD that helped us to a 32-7 lead at the half.

A few negative plays killed our first two drives in the 2nd half, but it didn't matter by that time. Boston was intercepted for a TD to put Honolulu up 39-7 midway into the 3rd. Cooper Allen was benched during the next drive. Our backup QB came in and did nothing the rest of the game.

Honolulu wins 39-10. These are the kinds of games that we have to win, and win convincingly if we're going to be taken seriously.

In other news, Las Vegas and Tuscon both lost so that puts Honolulu in the lead for the division. Win out and we clinch the division, with only one team left on the schedule above .500(Tucson), this is our division.
100,000 simulations gives us roughly an 86% chance to win it.

I'd love to get the 1st or 2nd seed in this conference. Texas will be hard to catch up to with their overall and conference records. Realistically they need to lose 3 games, maybe 2 games depending on tiebreakers if we have the same record.
2nd seed Fargo has the tiebreaker over us because of a win earlier this season. However Texas and Fargo play each other this week, which is perfect for Honolulu. Either way we gain on one team.

Next up is Boise City. I expect more of the same from this game. Probably not 2 TDs from D/ST but their defense is garbage and offense is in the bottom 10.
TE Tim Morris has been hurt since Week 5 and Honolulu is anxiously waiting his return. Can't wait to see what this offense looks like at full strength once he returns. Star LT Ansell has one week left before his return, LT Moniz has been an excellent fill-in.
