GG Oregon

We were missing our stud receiver Picton but the offense was still able to move the ball pretty well. Unfortunately our opponents were as well. It was a pretty even back and forth game but Oregon was able to get a kickoff return for a touchdown and that ended up being the difference. We've played a bunch of really tough teams close, but we keep coming out on the short end. We are much better than our record indicates but at the end of the day we're 2-6 and it's a huge disappointment

Free trip to Hawaii.. just have to not lose by 3 scores and will be happy. I am pretty sure their WR4 woudl be our WR1.

Uh-oh don't looknot but HON went 3and0 while we stormed downfield in dominant fashion converting 2 3rds and chomping more than 7 minutes off the clock. Of course HON tied it up pretty quickly and we had a failed completion on 3rd. HON got some nice intermediate gians but also some negative plays and gave it back without getting a lead.

HON blocked our punt but we picked them at the 1 yard line. W couldn't get offf our own endline though and kncoked th ecrap out the fair catch PR setting HON up for a quick 6 point advantage (missed XP). We had acouple nice runs but were picked in their end but a big sack meant we would get another shot inside of 2 minutes which of course we did not take advantage of.

RB Fulton got al 75 yards for us as we took a 1 point lead. HON couldn't overcome a penalty but we fumbled the PR and they retook a 6 point lead. Nothing doing for us, and thye hi t anice coner route on 3rd and long but missed the FG attempt. We coudln't move it, and HON YACed their way to a 13 point lead.

We hit the TE down the seam but missed our own FG attempt, after an arm punt by HON we again go 3andO. We knock it loose on a crosser and take over at their 10 and go sack, run for loss and then a mad scramble for a TD and we are down 6 again with 8 minutes left. The rush was getting to HON but we had another failed completion on 3rd and boomed it into the endzone with the clock enaring 4 minutes. Our D held and we got it back outside of 2 minutes with 2 TOs remaining at our own 34, plenty of time with 4 downs but could only manage 1 1st before going defensed, drop, hurry, failed completion.

Well goddang, we almost embarrasses them pretty good there. Another game driven by our Ds TOs wth occasional excelennt running from us. Would be nice to clean up our own TOs to see where we could get to. Still think we are seeing lots of good stuff from this squad just missing out on at least 3 more wins this season.

Off ot the luau, aloha!

A couple of weeks ago I indicated that San Antonio was lurking in our division and would be heard from before the end of the year......

Yikes..... I hear them loud and clear now.....They kicked our ass.

I guess we will scrap that game-plan and move on.....

GG Fargo

Hats off to you for putting in such a good performance, you legit had me scared that we might lose. You put together some of the best game plans in the league. That extra point we missed was nearly our doom.

Offense was good but 4 Turnovers was not. Our Defense stepped up in some huge moments late in the game, can't be mad with that.

Next week we're off to play Los Angeles in what looks like a trap game.
