Hosting Alaska in the rain, that might give us a puncher's chance. We GPd oth the O and D on this one so everything is my fault in any case.

ALA dinked their way down the field including a 3rd and 8 run before hitting a 9-route for 7. We tied things up wiht some brutal running and one big PA YAC play. THey converted 2 mroe 3rd and mediums running and almost a 3rd and 13 but ended up just short of hte sticks and opted for a 3 point lead.

We tried to imitate them but were stuffed bigtime but stuffed them 3 times in a row to get it back. Fumbling hte PR but lucky to recover. A holding call led to a 3rd and long and QB Nail htrew the pick, a ncie return setting Alaska up in scoring range. One big YAC play and they were close and went up 10 easily. Anoher holding call got us off-schedule and they hit the hal mary at hte half ot go up 17.

Ufff...even without that last BS this wasn't going well. Backup QB Washington came in to start the 2nd whicih makes me happy cause we really might switch over to him at some point and I wanted to see him play.

Running and dinks got us across midfield but another holding call led to a failed 3rd and long ad we pinned them at their 1. Alaska threw a dangerous screen off their own goalline to get a conversion and managed to flp the field. Qb Washington kept dinking before throwing an ugly pick-6 pretty much making it ballgame with 20 minutes left.

Not a very interesting game, Jimmy M and his cadre of receivers tore us up unsurprisingly 20/24 at more than 13 ypa. Our TOs made the score even worse. Potential frnchise QB Washington played real bad but who knows it was his first action as a Sodbuster. We went 0/6 on our deep balls have to see what we can do when our wideouts develop a bit more.

I don't get this game.

McKnight goes from goat to GOAT. Maybe it was my opponents, maybe it was the bye week.

Can't wait to see what I get next week. I'd settle for something between shitting the bed and first ballot HOF'er.

I'd like to celebrate this win a bit more, but with a Hartford buzzsaw coming in tomorrow we will settle for the customary GG.....and

Falling behind on these things. GG, Aamalin. We'll see how it goes later in the season. Hoping not to get swept. I'm not going to say it's a rebuilding season for the Pride because we still have Gilmore, but his supporting cast is young and in dire need of some experience.
