You've signed up at the right time, we are getting close to the offseason and that is typically the time of year when a few teams become available after we do our annual roll call.
Be sure and check in the forum regularly to see if any openings come up.
As far as team building goes, it really depends on what style of team you want to run. You can build thru free agency but that usually means you have roughly a 3 yr window to win it all before the salary cap catches up with you. Or build thru the draft, even if it is typically very hard to get impact players after round 2 or so.
That is the beauty of FOF, you can really win in different ways. Granted, it helps to have a star caliber QB, but still...Of course, it also depends on which team you end up with, since you won't be starting from scratch and will have to work with what you've got.
