I was looking at my team summary and I noticed that J. Beavers & J. Donahue both have over 1000+ all-purpose yards. My question is has there ever been a starting backfield with those numbers in the C.F.L. before.

Thanks..

I think Oregon had a combo that put up similar numbers in their championship year.

Boston has a chance to do it this year in rushing yards alone:

Roger Rubenstein - 1137 yards
Bryant Pressley - 909 yards

Also, Tucson has done it already this year:

Drew Holliday - 1348 rushing yards
Daryl Bradley - 695 rushing yards + 133 receiving yards + 242 punt return yards + 95 kickoff return yards = 1165 all purpose yards

Just for the record, Pressley gained 147 yards in Week 17 so we had two 1000-yard rushers for 2006.

Not to mention almost 500 from your FB- very impressive rushing numbers there...now your QB, he makes Donnie Lowe look like Marino  j/k
