I am making the following proposed amendments to the CFL Constitution. Please read them and submit your vote.

Basically, these amendments make minor changes to the existing Constitution and make the rules more simple.

[Amendment 1 deleted, pending further discussion]

Amendment 2: Eliminate the requirement that position changes must be posted in the forum. It

I agree with all of these and would also like to see some mentioning of the standards concerning days when we have live draft chats.

I was thinking about voting "No" to #2, but then I realized that it would be foolish. It's posted in the constitution that it would violate fair-play rules and if somebody really wanted to try to cheat, they wouldn't have posted it anyway.

You can now go about your business.

suggestion for #1. maybe have it say that no teams can sign players dropped after week 17 (rather than only playoff teams)? non-playoff teams can potentially sign a really good player released for cap reasons to a 1 year FA contract, and proceed to franchise them the following season.

Very good point indeed. I would have never thought of that.

That's a good point, and I decided to delete Amendment 1. We should have a more thorough discussion of this issue.

The remaining amendments aren't that controversial, so hopefully we will get those passed.

If you already voted yes, then the deletion shouldn't change your vote.

If you voted no and now wish to vote yes, please post a reply here or send me a PM if you want it confidential.
