Before I submit any exports for the staff hiring phase, I would like to get a ruling on coaches' salaries. I know that we discussed it at length in this thread:

But I didn't see any mention of it in our constitution. Is there a salary cap for our coaches. We had mentioned setting it at 10% of players salary cap. Have we made any decisions on this or no?

I think the patch has this issue covered and external rules really aren't needed anymore...

I first brought up the possibility of the league in late june. Week 1 was run in early August. The salary cap thing here happened in late August.

The salary cap incident most certainly had nothing to do with the creation of the HFL...

Now that Jim has implemented a limit within the game we are going to use that. So anything that the game allows is allowed.

I confirmed that it works by trying to make an offer to a coach of $25M. Needless to say my owner stepped in and suggested that I don't spend more than a set amount which he derived. I'm glad to see it working.
