I also processed the trades that the game allowed. The trades involving Cleveland and Chicago would not go through due to salary cap violations. If you guys make moves so that the game allows these trades, then I will process them during the next stage.

This next stage (5/3, Pre free agency) is an optional export for you to release players and try some renegotiations. It is recommended that you do not make offers to free agents during this stage, because then other teams can see the offers that you make. The first stage of free agency will not be run until Wednesday morning.

It's too late to go back and franchise the player, but if you tell me who it is we'll say that the player is off limits to anyone else and you'll have exclusive rights to them. I remember that we did this before in a similar situation. Would you like to do this?

Nah, don't worry about it. It's probably saving me from cap hell by not franchising somebody anyways. This was my fault for not reading properly. I won't take the Terrell Owens route and fight it.
