Looks kinda top heavy to me, but I suppose FOF drafts usually are.

Alan Spearman = *drool*

Some good QBs to me had as well...

Good class for RBs. Will Spearman, with his high volatility, go #1?

The class overall seems week to me..

Look at the draft class compared to FA, a LOT more quality in FA than the draft which is unusual to me...

Wow. Horrifically bad WR class.

Very weak across the O-Line.

Good Punters.

OK DEs.

Weak DTs.

OK ILBs.

Poor OLBs.

Decent CBs.

Good Safety class.

I agree, pretty weak overall. I thought last year was pretty weak as well. I blame the Department of Education.... :)

I see who I want at 11- but I have a feeling someone will grab him before he falls to me...

Figures...I have the #6 and #8 pick (provided Cleveland gets its salary cap issues worked out) and I see 3 guys I'm drooling over.

No chance they make it to #6 though.

I am picking 2nd and I do not like the class at all. I see one player who I would feel justitfied picking at this point.

# 1 Arizona
Alan Spearman, RB, Northern Arizona. 6-2, 225
Arizona already has a young solid QB so taking Hoffman # 1 would not be a need pick. However, they also have one of the best young RBs in the league in Arnie Sonntag. I really see Arizona either trading out of this spot or picking Spearman with the intention of trading Sonntag. Spearman is the big, fast, every-down back that any team in the league would love to have.

# 2 Memphis
Don Terrell, RB, Oregon. 5-7, 210
Memphis has a lot of needs- their biggest need right now is probably RB where they only have 1 player under contract. Terrell would step in and be the starter from day 1, he would help take pressure off of Urrutia. Hopefully for Memphis Terrell would be the piece to the puzzle they are missing to get back to their winning ways.

# 3 Cleveland
Blaine Hoffman, QB, North Dakota State. 6-3, 227
Cleveland is in trouble with the salary cap, and will most likely try to trade out of this spot. If they are stuck here I see them taking the QB, they drafted Norm Rayburn in the first round a few years back and he never panned out but Hoffman looks like a

[quote17d27c6="Doug5984"]# 23 Fargo
Burt Goodwin, RB, Buffalo. 6-1, 229
Fargo had a lot of success last season throwing the ball, if they want to be more balanced this pick would make a lot of sense. Might be a little reach for him here, but it gives them the RB they need. If they are happy throwing most the time they could go defense with this pick.[/quote17d27c6]

I can promise you right now that there is no way I take a running back with that pick, especially not someone like Goodwin who isn't much of a reciever.

I was also thinking RG, or RT- but none of those seem worthy of that high of a pick either...Could be somewhere on the D-Line. Really depends who is available

I don't know what, and where I'll draft, but I doubt it will be at 1.31...

And another draft class in the books with no Eckbergs in it.

I tell you what, the first time one of my relatives is in the draft pool, he's gonna be by #1 pick. I don't care if he 0/1 punter, he's gonna be my boy...

Doug,

Great job on the mock. So you missed a trade. Big deal. It's still great!

Can't wait to get the draft started.

Stretch

In my opinion, there is only one real superstar figure in the draft. I think there are some other solid players but no one stands out. However, Hoffman looks alot like Bridges when he was drafted as Doug pointed out.

Lol, I have seen the first Secora in a lousy CB. He might need to be signed after the draft . . .
