Good game San Antonio...

Young Cassidy showed some growth in his second start. He wasn't spectacular, but he was accurate and avoided mistakes.

Wow, now that was an amazing performance. A 45-3 win is the best way to head into the bye week.

Congrats to Tucson.
Our game was a little closer than I had expected. We even lead late in the 4th quarter.
I really can't wait til this terrible season is over, and I have some cap room again.

You're welcome! Now you're going to return the favor and give us a win in week 17 when you're coasting to an easy division title, right? Right?

That was without a doubt, the worst performance by the Capitalists since I have been GM. Absolutely nothing positive to say. 5 turnovers (2 returned for TDs), a punt return for a TD. The rest of the game was mostly sacks, incompletions, and punts.

Congrats, Joe. That was an ass kicking.

Lenny "Jackpot" Olsen has a new nickname, or at least, an extended nickname.

After suffering a severe bout of the flu, Lenny's own affliction of needing to score from outside of the Red Zone, helped the Rounders get over their illness.

Dr. Lenny Jackpot Olsen was able to cure many of the afflicted with plenty of fresh air (under the ball that is). Dr. Jackpot also brought the rain on some of his throws, especially on the 61-yarder to McDonald (congrats to those who selected him, he was definitely a bargain). Said rain helped to wash the scourge from the stadium.

Dr. Jackpot is expected to continue his healing spree next week when he exorcises the demon known as the Toros. They have looked beatable as of late and the Rounders are hoping to have the Doctor's scalpel sharp and ready for the matchup (Lenny doesn't actually have a scalpel this year, he has been using a bone saw, which is better at taking large chunks at a time). Now, if the Doctor could only find enough medicine to cure the rest of the flu-bodies so that the Rounders could face the Toros at full strength, then we might actually have a shot.

Do your gameplanning yourself. Stop hitting that "Recommend" button. Do something radical with the defense, now that's a challenge... :P

Cleveland beats Detroit????

Not a pretty game by any stretch of the imagination. On one drive I had two TD's wiped off the board for penalties. Freddie Mathias threw 3 INT's and that basically won the game for us. No outstanding performances on offense, but our defense did it's job.

How about a kick in the nuts?

That I can promise, a challenge I cannot.

Swing by Vegas in couple of weeks and we'll see what happens.

You can follow 3ric's suggestion but I'd rather you not. That way, when the Rounders beat you, there is no excuse. :P

5 turnovers (and injuries) killed us! Giving away the ball 4 times inside your own 40 will usually make you lose a ball game...

Like you said, it wasn't pretty, but nice win TLK.

Why would I change my game plan?I actually set my tendencies and my actual depth chart before the first game this year. I havent bothered to download and fix something that is working, much less "hit recommend" like you seem to think I'm doing.

That's a nice try though...

I'm confused. :?

How can you set your game plan and have it stay the same without exporting?

I thought that the AI makes adjustments to your lineup and game plan the very first time you don't export.

So, you are exporting this year? I thought your style of not exporting was what got you two championships.

Like I said, I am confused as to how the whole AI thing works...

AI doesnt change the gameplan, just the depth chart if you don't have enough players at a certain position and it signs someone. You could go a whole year not changing anything, and if you have no injuries it all stays intact. Exporting/not exporting doesnt matter as long as your depth chart meets the requirements. You could go the whole season with just sending one file as long as you have no injuries.

Well, I have very little depth on my team so if the computer readjusts my depth charts, it's not so good. But Im not so bold as to think that if I had someone other then Ronnie Tu, my team would be anything then what it is now.
