Wolfpack quarterback [b783aabf]Lane Manuel[/b783aabf] passed for 500 yards, which tied the league record that was originally set by [b783aabf]Rodney Darr[/b783aabf] of Chicago in 2003. Manuel also tied the league record for touchdown passes in a game with 5. It was the 10th time in league history that a quarterback threw 5 TD passes in the same game.

While Denver failed to stay undefeated, five different teams did improve to 3-0: Boise, Charleston, Durham, Hartford, and Long Beach. Meanwhile, Memphis, Shreveport, Chicago, and Oregon fell to 0-3.

The most exciting finish of the week happened in Santa Cruz (1-2), where Honolulu's [b783aabf]Ronnie Tu[/b783aabf] threw a 35 yard TD pass to [b783aabf]Efren Herold[/b783aabf] on the final play of regulation to send the game into overtime. Honolulu (1-2) won the game in the extra period on a 3 yard TD run by [b783aabf]Colin Sonkin[/b783aabf].

After going 25 straight games without a touchdown reception, Tulsa WR [b783aabf]Charles Lindberg[/b783aabf] has caught at least one touchdown pass in all three games this year.
