wOOt!!!

Although it was painful to watch my offense for most of the game, they came through when it counted. Sullivan almost put up a 100 yard day, but most of those came on two long runs. He's doing enough to keep the starting job, and keep Radke on kick coverage. There were a few injuries to the offense that will hopefully heal over our bye week.

The defense stepped up and forced five turnovers, after only forcing two in the first three games. As a unit, they outplayed the offense by far.

Next up.... the bye week. Followed by a huge home stand with New Orleans, Detroit and Memphis. The game with Detroit should be interesting, as both teams have stumbled early.

We're 4-0, and the only new injury is a bad cold for the fifth receiver. It was kind of a strange game in Seattle. It looked like we were going to run away with it, getting up 13-0, but Seattle came back to make it a game.

Liszkiewicz fumbled in the red zone and that could have been the difference in the game as we only won by 6, 23-17.

My offense played pretty well, but we continue to suck in the red zone: 6 trips and only 2 touchdowns.

The defense did about as well as you can do against a team with weapons like Seattle. Dever only completed about half his throws, and we held Cole Faison to 0 catches.

Crap crappity crap!

We had a chance to win it on the second to last drive if not for this fumble:
[coded33fdde]&Offense: Single-Back Formation, Trips WR, Strength = Left.

&Defense: 43 Alignment, Nickel Personnel, 3-Deep Zone, Pass - Normal.

1-05-DUR23 (02:06) BAL 7 Barbieri sacked by DUR 79 Nickell for a loss of 6 yards.

Sack allowed by BAL 64 Covey.

Ball was fumbled and recovered by DUR 78 Smith for 10 yards to the DUR39.

Offical time out for the two-minute warning.[/coded33fdde]

Great play by Nickell there. Lackey's two missed FGs cost us dearly in the end.

[bb91b900]A couple of Boise milestones:[/bb91b900] Branden Lin became the 19th CFL quarterback to pass for 15,000 yards and the 10th to pass for 100 touchdowns, passing both milestones in week 4 at Seattle. Lane Manuel of Anchorage also entered the 100 td club last week.

[bb91b900]A CFL milestone:[/bb91b900] Arthur Brady became the first back to pass the 9,000 rushing yard mark this week in a loss to New Orleans and now has 9099. The next closest player is William Sheehan of Santa Cruz with 6718 career rushing yards.

[bb91b900]Team Performance update:[/bb91b900] With Honolulu's early season slide, they now lead Charleston by just 1 game in the all time standings. Tucson is the third winningest franchise ever, trailing Honolulu by 4 games.

The top 3 QB are all from the Calvary division- the only one not up there is El Paso's Dustin Hayes and he is having a pretty good year besides not throwing many TDs.

Well, Honolulu is being run by the AI. Although, we are not real sure why at this point.

I'm not sure that's true any longer - Bug said his internet access was back, didn't he?

In any event, Honolulu put all their starters out on the field so I'm taking full credit for this glorious victory! w00t! [i205960b]I'm totally awesome![/i205960b]

And now Honolulu travels to play a hot Tulsa team on a 3 game winning steak- putting up some of the best offensive numbers un the teams history. (Who cares all the teams we have beat are 1-3 ;))

There are only two matchups between teams with winning records next week: 3-1 Denver at 3-1 Tucson and the battle of the unbeatens, 4-0 Durham at 3-0 Hartford.

What a horrible game to watch! We traded punts almost on every drive!!!

I think I'm really starting to miss my old coach...

Especially when I see plays like this;

[code60b8ef2] 4-10-DET41 (13:03) DET 17 Wentland punted 36 yards from the DET41.
MEM 86 Yarbrough called for a fair catch at the MEM23.
Penalty: MEM - Running into the Kicker. Penalty was declined.
[/code60b8ef2]

WTF? isn't this penalty an automatic 1st down? why the hell decline it?

[i889038f]Roughing[/i889038f] the kicker is an automatic first down. [i889038f]Running[/i889038f] into the kicker is just a 5 yard penalty. I guess your coach was pleased with a 36 yard punt and no return. :?

Great milestone for Brady. He is a hoss and his stats are much better than his attributes show. Too bad he is all that is going on in Chicago.
