GG, Varacel. For a second I thought I could come from behind and force overtime when I saw

1-10-SAC20 (00:23) SAC 6 Barre pass completed to 83 Stearns for 40 yards (OOB).
Tackled by DEN 24 Sanderson.

but alas,

1-10-DEN40 (00:02) SAC 1 Eastman attempted a 57 yard field goal and missed short of the crossbar.

So ends the season for the Dragons.

The good news is that we beat Tulsa 30-10. The bad news is that Branden Lin is out for a month with a seperated shoulder. We were actually down to our third string quarterback for most of the second half against Tulsa and he did pretty well. The number 2 guy will be ready to go against Denver, but we're probably a long shot this week without Lin.

Good job Denver! Time for you to make another CFL Bowl...

Nice run, Tulsa. You did what I haven't been able to do in any of my leagues yet...win a damned playoff game.

We lose and my team gets the flu...nice...lol

Actually getting influenza on my team hurts right now because I cant release anyone who is "questionable" for cap reasons...

it was a good run this season, I'm very proud of my guys- but watch out for us next year, the entire offense is returning and anything less than a division win will be a dissapointment. :D

What an ugly game, man Hurst looked like shit(10-22 2ints). I cant believe, well it looks like we will be running the hell out of the ball next game...

Great job this season Taco, it looks like the rivals still live on.

2-1 against you this season, finally I have a winning record against you for a season..

Good game, JJ. You made the plays when it mattered and found a way to win.

I was happy with my defense, only allowing 235 yards, but those 3 lost fumbles killed me, including two by backup RB Hodges. And then at the end we almost pulled it out:

Score: Charleston (SC) 28, Durham 17.

CHT 15 Alvarado kicked off 69 yards from the CHT30.
DUR 89 Reynolds returned the ball 33 yards to the DUR34. Tackled by CHT 41 Goodwin.

Possession to Durham.

1-10-DUR34 (02:23) DUR 1 Kimber pass fell incomplete, intended for 82 Volpe.
2-10-DUR34 (02:14) DUR 31 Metz ran around right end for 3 yards.
Offical time out for the two-minute warning.
3-07-DUR37 (02:00) DUR 1 Kimber pass completed to 89 Reynolds for 11 yards.
1-10-DUR48 (01:41) DUR 1 Kimber pass completed to 31 Metz for 9 yards (OOB).
2-01-CHT43 (01:31) DUR 1 Kimber pass was dropped by 80 Browning.
3-01-CHT43 (01:17) DUR 1 Kimber pass fell incomplete, intended for 86 Jalbert.
4-01-CHT43 (01:03) Penalty: DUR - False Start.
4-06-CHT48 (01:03) DUR 1 Kimber pass completed to 80 Browning for 10 yards.
DUR called time out.
1-10-CHT38 (00:55) DUR 1 Kimber scrambled for 6 yards.
DUR called time out.
2-04-CHT32 (00:46) DUR 1 Kimber pass completed to 82 Volpe for 32 yards and a touchdown!
Conversion Attempt: DUR 1 Kimber pass completed to 86 Jalbert.

Score: Durham 25, Charleston (SC) 28.

DUR 4 Snell kicked off (onside) 16 yards from the DUR30. DUR 52 Stambaugh recovered the kick.

1-10-DUR46 (00:27) DUR 1 Kimber scrambled for 6 yards.
DUR called time out.
2-04-CHT48 (00:20) DUR 1 Kimber pass completed to 86 Jalbert for 35 yards.

and then time ran out before we could spike the ball and kick the game tying FG. :(

Good luck next week, JJ! I'm looking forward to continuing our rivalry next season!

Well played Joe. A bit too close for comfort in the end. Seems turnovers were all that seperated the teams in the end. Still can't believe we punted from the 28 yard line early in the 4th. Nearly came back to haunt us!

A classic playoff game between Detroit and Hartford.

The Attack, clearly the superior team, jumped ahead early and kicked our butt in the 1st quarter which was painful for me to watch. After 16 minutes, Hartford led 16-0, had more than 150 yds offense while Detroit had 15 yds of total offense and no first downs!

After that, the Vampires clawed their way back into the game, winning the field position battle with very good special teams play and defense.

We managed to come back during the 2nd half, finally taking a 20-19 lead in the 4th quarter.

But then Oberg pulls a beautiful final drive, a crucial 3rd and 10 which we can't stop, and Hartford wins it on a last second FG...

Congrats to Masked on a great game and for your outstanding team, I hope you make it all the way!

A lot of great games this week!

Sorry I haven't been posting much. Work has me traveling all over hell's half acre and it seems I'm never at home during export time.

God willing, my travel is over for a few months.

Great game. I was really worried that I was going to lose to you again.
