I have updated the Hall of Legends page with the 2013 inductees: http://www.thecfl.net/halloflegends.html

Once the bios are ready I will place them on the pages as well. For now I just put some placeholder text.

That's what I thought as well. I'll have to submit a new picture on this one along with the write up.

Looks good. I'm with everybody else. I never knew that John Lubin was white and Louis Kratzer was black.

:)

+1. I was not as sure about Lubin but I'm with you on that.

Louis "The Cracker" Kratzer was definitely a shock. Now I don't get the nickname. :smt017

One other thing. Methinks that Ralph Crank should be listed as a member of the Boston Panthers as opposed to the Boston Red Devils.

Zachery Aaron...twenty-third overall selection in the 2003 draft...set many firsts for the CFL's Las Vegas franchise...three time All-League First Team Defensive End...2010 Legend of the Game...missed four starts in thirteen seasons...retired as the tackle and assist leader at his position...had a knack for persuading runners to drop the ball...his #92 jersey hangs at the top of the Pole of Pride in the North endzone of "The Pit"...a friendly demeanor backed by fury and rage that only opponents had the pleasure to witness...was both respected and feared by his opponents...epitome of consistency.

At 6' 4" and 290 pounds, Aaron was able to make his presence known physically but his true presence wasn't felt until the ball was snapped and Aaron went to work. While Zachery Aaron's name won't be found atop any of the all-time lists, you will see his name on many of them, most notably the recognition of his peers and the league's coaches who felt that he was All League First Team material three years in a row (2007-2009). Aaron was also recognized for his off-the-field contributions in Las Vegas by being honored with the 2010 Legend of the Game award.

While never stealing the role of field general from [player]Romeo Comeau[/player], Aaron was the leader in crunch time by leading with few words and many actions. Sometimes called 'Captain Clutch' by his teammates, Aaron often humbly dismissed those accolades by stating that he was just doing his job. He loved his job, or so it seemed, as he always played with a big smile on his face. Fellow Pink People Eater members like [player]Gary Fike[/player] say that he smiled when he thought about how much fun he was going to have tormenting an opposing lineman on the next play. Maybe his smile was indicative of the joy he felt for being productive. The many firsts of Zachery Aaron started with being the first selection in the original 2003 CFL draft for the Las Vegas franchise. This was a result of the hard work Aaron was famous for and probably credited to for being the first in his family to attend and graduate college. He was always the first one to arrive for practice and was the first to help the younger guys on the team. Aaron retired with his name first on the list of tackles and assists by a defensive end. He was the first Rounder to be honored with the Legend of the Game award and was the first Rounder to have his jersey retired. Now, Aaron has become the first Rounder to be both nominated and accepted into the CFL's Hall of Legends.

Aaron's essence will never be proportionately captured in stat lines or bios, but his heart, honor, leadership, courage, and will to win will be forever enshrined in the hearts and memories of fans, teammates, and opponents alike. Thank you Zachery Aaron, it has been an honor, a privilege, and a pleasure.
