Well, that's our season. A loss to Boston combined with...

[player]Marcus Davis[/player] (out 7 weeks)
[player]Herman McCrea[/player] (out 43 weeks)

We had better luck with the turnovers this week, as we seemed to score after every takeaway today. We were outgained by Tampa but they never made it into the red zone.

..and five players out in total. Anchorage is the leader in that stat category with six players out.

I'm scratching my head trying to figure out how we won that game. We just seemed to get the right play at the right time on defense and our offense was barely good enough.

I did love the extra field goal from a short distance with 6 seconds left to run up the score at the end of the game.

What a disappointing loss to Oregon. We keep holding teams to FGs but our offense has completely stunk the last 5 weeks. Add in that we get 5 new injuries this week with 2 of them being to our starting FB and OLB who will be out the majority of the rest of the season... this season is not going to end well.

Ouch.

Sorry bout that TLK.

I always hate to see good players going down for a long time, and even though we have a strong rivalry going on, I'd rather beat up on you while you're healthy. That way, you have no excuse...

That sucked, close loss. It seems I am losing the turnover battle every week. I gotta go back to basics on offense and hope we can take better care of the ball.

GG TLK

Sorry you had so many injuries in our game. My guys are just stroking people on defense right now. My offense still leaves a lot to be desired but only two games back in the division half way through my first season. I can't complain.

Well, that was yet another disappointing loss to Tucson. Our offense and defense played well but untimely turnovers played a major role. Again.

MoMo's two picks came at the end of the game when he was trying to make something happen. Unfortunately, one of them was returned for a score. It sure feels like Tucson has one pick-6 against us every game. Despite the number of points scored by Tucson, the defense did a decent job. The pick-6 can't be blamed on the defense and the fumble in our own back yard on the kickoff return left the greatest QB to ever play in the CFL a very short field. The defense got the game ball today as they put us in position to win it but we just couldn't do it. Same old story. One more quarter and we walk away a winner.

gg Fonzie.

I'm willing to bet we turn the corner one of these years. It's becoming more frequent that the numbers say we played as good as or better than the Toros while the scoreboard disagrees. MoMo keeps doing more in the end of those games to make a difference and the big red bull-faced monkey will soon be off our backs, Goodwin be damned.

GG Jeeber,

Ugly ball really stole this one. As i watched the game I couldn't understand how we won. We had a goal line stand at the 1 yard line. A 4th down conversion in the last seconds of the game to tie. True ugly ball with an OT 19-16W.

gg to you too TT. As I was reading the game log for this game I kept thinking we were doomed - we weren't getting defensive stops, we weren't getting turnovers, our punter wasn't helping us with field position, Goodwin was under more pressure than he's seen all season. And then it all came together in the 4th quarter and we were able to sneak away with a win in a game that was very, very close.
