Someone test the water in Albany - they had an outstanding camp. Chicago also had a strong camp. Not looking good in Detroit, Charleston, Tampa, and Fargo though. Las Vegas may not have gotten any worse, but their future doesn't look quite as nice.

A closer look from my perspective shows it even worse at -13/-176. However, -75 of that on both sides is from 12 vets that took a straight fall after camp. While it means that our older guys are getting older, the young guys are doing just fine. 2019 showed me that the secondary is no place to get iffy and our future there is brighter than it has been since drafting Shergalis way back when. Some of our vets that contributed to the majority of our hit may be fading but should still perform well. For example, Kim collins, 2019 1st Team All-League Safety, contributed -10/-10 by himself but even as a 42/42 SS he will likely outperform many safeties in the league. It's still too early to know where we will be at this year but I feel we are better than the WC team we were last year.

Most of my hits are also concentrated on vets and one rookie:

Kenny Paschal, -8, -8, 10 yr
Trevor Wilder, -10, -10, 11 yr
Darnell Ackerman, -6, -6, 9 yr
Jesse Freedman, -11, -11, 10 yrs
Darryl Whiting, -7, -7, 11 yrs

Combined: -49, -63

The vets are not part of the plan, anyways. Most of them are there just to look nice on the sidelines and teach the rookies how to play.

Our biggest drops came from some vets that likely are in their last seasons with us anyways.

9th yr WR Monty Curtis goes -10/-10. My very first draft pick in the league. He wasn't going to be a big factor in this year's team.

8th yr DE Sean Masucci goes -11/-11. That is offset by 2nd yr DE Raymond Fitzgerald going +10/+6 so I found a new starter to pair up with Benfer.

So those 2 guys out of the picture give us a 76/-55. That's a solid camp.

The aggregate camp numbers give an incomplete picture. Last year Honolulu had the best camp, and that hasn't helped them yet.

Of course Cleveland had the worst camp, and they were much worse last season than they were the year before. Hartford had the second best camp and had a surprisingly good year.

Yeah, well my 6th year DE Justin Hatcher went +10/+10 to pair with Hutchinson.

...and my dad can still beat up your dad...

My overall numbers usually don't mean much since I carry extra mentors in camp that usually take huge hits.
It doesn't matter however since they will be cut next week.

Overall, I'm fairly happy. Veterans mostly held, rookies did not bust (even though my 1st rounder was disappointing).
