Big win over Tucson.

For once Goodwin looked mortal against us. Our defense played great and our offense moved the ball enough to get the win. 4 straight TD drives in the 2nd half. Wow.

GG Fonzie.

Ye gods. I'll tell you what that was: me forgetting to change the preseason PT settings. *sigh*

Anyway, gg CC.

GG Boston. I was quite surprised to win my first game of the season. I'm not exactly sure how we did it - I'll have to check the game logs. However, some rookies played really well.

Batch had a great day with 8 catches for 72 yds. Rhodes had a 90 passer rating and moved the ball very well. The defense played very well and only allowed 273 yds in total offense.

I'm a bit disappointed that Boston didn't play Fisk -it would have been a great match-up for the two rookie QBs. Oh well.

GG Tulsa,

We were driving for a possible score and the inexperience of my young WR to not get out of bounds cost us the game on the last drive. Den L13-16

The bad news: we had to settle for 6 FGs.
The good news: we made all 6 and added a TD, while the defense played well.

Good start to the season as we had a good all around game. Need to get the ball in the endzone, though.

I expected to get blown out after our unloading of talent; however, we were able to keep it close losing 10-6. We started 10 rookies with a good portion of those on defense. We were pretty impressed with their play and hope to improve each game in what could be a very long and painful year to the ego of many of our players.

The WORD in Durham is that there are still some very good players on the trade block that want out of this sinking ship.

Nice opening game win for the start of the Bisbo regime in El Paso. 4 picks by the D and a very efficient passing game by Mathews. Thought we were done when he got hurt, but managed to hold on for the win. GG Fargo.

Bleh.

We get burned on 2 long TD catches by damn Satterlee, which sucks since we were able to contain the Crows the rest of the game.

Good game thater.

Not the best way to begin our chase for another Great Lakes division title...

Yes, you have certainly had our number over the years head to head. I tried something new this year, by having my key players inactive for all of preseason and just hoping they shake the rust off quickly. I think next season I will have to play them in at least one preseason game to keep the rust from being extreme.

How does an inactive player get tired? Jet lag?
