GG Denver.

Wow, took over in week 3, I think. We are still winless. The opponent's record against is a ridiculous...31-9.

Hopefully there are brighter days ahead.

Another year, another beating by Tucson.

This time they scored 17 points in the 4th quarter to win.

Congrats on another win, Fonzie!

And QB Foster gets injured. *sigh* No chance at a repeat this year.

I went 1-0 before reality set in, 1-5 now. At least it was to be expected

Our offense moved the ball well enough for a bunch of FGs and that proved to be enough this week.

Our defense had another strong showing with an INT for a TD and generally frustrating the Copperheads.

We gotta get better on 3rd downs on both sides of the ball.

I decided to watch this one in Solevision, and when we began the 4th qtr down 23-7 I very nearly closed it down. I'm glad I didn't! HBE's defense, which had been outstanding through the first three quarters, seemed to fall apart and allowed Robbins to throw three TD passes to steal the win. It's the kind of inexplicable turnaround that makes me wonder about "familiarity" in the other direction ("the offense looked familiar with that defense").

Tough loss Stretch. Fwiw your boys outclassed mine nearly the entire game. And Foster seemed to play better after he got hurt, so maybe that won't be much of an issue going forward.
