Spoiler Alert . . . .

There was a LOT of stuff that I liked about this game (including the win). We took the ball away and didn't give it away (+3). HB was 1/11 on 3rd downs. A rookie CB gets a pick-6. The running game was able to move the chains late in the game. The punter was putting the ball inside the 20. Special teams was covering kicks.

The pass defense was awesome. (When you can hold Bert Foster to a rating of 39.8, you're either really good or really lucky - likely both).

After 8 freakin' years in this league (and roughly 28 seasons) we finally got our first CFL Bowl win. It would be an understatement to say that I was happy. Relieved is another word I can think of.

Has been a hell of a season! I truly thought we were a 10-6 caliber team again this year, but veteran journeyman quarterback - David Provance - took the reigns and delivered the ball to a hell of a receiving corps (over 70% completion ratio in the regular season and the playoffs). Oh yeah, and I have pretty damn good DE (DPOY Leland Wellins) on the team as well.

Good game, Stretch!

Way to go Raven Hawk!!

I hoping the winner would come out of our conference with the great year so many teams had. There were four teams that posted a 13-3 record (Shreveport, Tennessee, Baltimore and Omaha), Detroit had a great year at 14-2 (too bad about your QB in the playoffs), and the always dangerous Bees posted a 11-4 year. This was a tough year to make the playoffs in that conference.

Congrats to all who made the playoffs.

Congrats, RH. I hated losing to you, of course, but it is still awesome to see your 8 years of work pay off. That was a great run. Enjoy it.
