When it's my pick I'm going to have to take forever or I'll feel left out.

As much as I started the delays..

I don't understand how you make a trade for the pick that is currently up, yet don't have the util stocked and ready to go...

The good news is that the draft clock has now officially started...officially Fargo has until 11:30am EDT tomorrow to make a pick or trade it.

I think we really rattled Fargo with that trade. They don't know what to do anymore.

Those were simpler times. This year we are addicted to high stakes trading.

and almost an hour and a half later...

Seriously.. I know I was one of the major hold-ups... but it was different. .I had the pick all along, and several owners wanted to wait to see who was available, and then I got flooded with offers..

jshipman made a trade for the pick WHILE IT WAS UP and then wants to take his 8 hours to try and flip it? It's just completely absurd...

I hate rules.. but I feel like I want a rule around this...

does the clock reset when the pick is traded? (imo it shouldnt) or is it a total of 8 hours for each pick itself?

Post subject:

I'm not sure how VPI's utility works, but I agree that it shouldn't reset.

He actually made the pick about 20 minutes after saying the 15-30 minutes thing.

I happen to agree. I understand if the player that you wanted is gone but if you ahve to anticipate that stuff. I hate to see trading just to be trading. I am not accusing anyone of that but some questions have arisen.

Dude, let it go. I was at work when the trade went down and didn't have access to the game to see who I wanted to take. Thought I would entertain offers until I got off work. I gave up more than I wanted to for the pick after Alston was selected. He was the guy I really wanted. Decided to try and get something back while moving down a few spots. Sorry to cramp your freaking style! Any how, the pick is made and you don't have to worry about me again until the 3rd round.

Two biggest complaints are coming from the two guys that took the longest time during the first 10 picks. NICE!!!
