Truth be told... if I kept the pick I was going to draft Horowitz. The deal with Charleston worked for me, since most of my future picks are toast. Charleston gets their guy and I get some hope for the future.

Hopefully Shooter will be here sometime after 11 EDT. Yesterday that was what his situation was, at least.

Nevermind he's already here.

Just in time to probably select the last player on my preference list

Just a reminder - Shooter is traveling and has access but it will be limited. He said he would use the utility but I don't know how deep his list was/is.

I thought I was really prepared, and then once it came time to pick I really had to agonize over it.

I hear ya. That's what I'm doing right now. But worry not, fair friends: I'll be choosing soon.

In a shocking move, The Stingers selected tight end Ricky Horowitz. All-Pro John Vandenberg know has an immediate successor. Looks like a lot of two TE sets this year.

And there goes another one of the guys I really wanted...thanks a lot, Taco.

With the talent level the way it is in this league, the team that finds a way to phase out wide receivers may be the most successful.

Fucking Toros! Who invited them to this thing anyway?

I was actually starting to convince myself that Ross was going to slide a few more spots.

Why are you always drafting in front of me anyway? I'll get you yet Fonzie...

:)

I agonized over this choice, but in the end it was a no-brainer. Poplawski was too talented to drop to my next pick at #24, and my OL has been too badly injured over the last two seasons to let him slide by.

Sorry TurfToe. :D

I have my list loaded so as soon as Seattle goes, I'll do my impression of a slider's journey on a drunken evening.

Speaking of a slider's journey, my #1 on my list is a value pick that fits a need and is a no brainer...my #2 on the other hand, let's just say I hope my #1 is not selected by Seattle or I'll be taking my lumps tomorrow.

One last comment that will hopefully help in the future that is based on a PM I have received about this...

We can make trades that say "I will make this trade if player XXX is available at that pick"... there is NOTHING wrong with that kind of trade and would have avoided this mess..

Fargo could have said "I offer you (whatever it was) if Alston is still available at 1.10).. as long as Albany is willing to make that deal, no problem... and then.. we don't have these sort of issues.... As I've said earlier, that is my main heartache.. that they made this deal while 1.10 was on the clock, not before it was on the clock (or at least that is when it was posted)...

Glad I checked this morning, it was not on though it should have been. I turned it on again and saved but still no pick, ideas?
