[quote342182c="dberner30"]Detroit barely escaped Chicago with the win.
 [/quote342182c]

It was a fairly balanced game and I feel lucky indeed to escape with the win. I was fortunate to score 20 unanswered points in the first half, and was on the edge of my seat watching you slowly come back...

I really hate having to face Brady twice a year, the guys 's one of the most dangerous players in the CFL!

A worrying thing was the amount of injuries sustained. Luckily, they were all minor but I already have a long list of injured players...not a good sign for the season. What [i342182c]really [/i342182c]pisses me off is that Flowers got injured on a special team play! Wtf is my star DE doing on special teams???

dola - by the way, I was pretty happy with Monty Boyd's first performance for the Vampires. He rushed 27 times for 91 yds and caught 4 passes for 28 yds and a TD.
Exactly the kind of performance I was looking for.
Now if he can only improve that ypc a bit, he'll be a perfect fit for my offense!

This is one of my biggest pet peeves with FOF. I've had similar things happen in solo careers, with star RBs going down for the season making a special teams tackle. Does not compute.

I wish there was a "do not allow on special teams" tag/list/setting in the game.

[quote2ae156d="TurfToe"]Our starters looked a little tired and Jackpot confessed to spending the entire night before the game with you-know-who.[/quote2ae156d]

It looks like Ex-Vegas coach Crowley's talk with Eddie Crawford worked out as planned. I don't know what the new San Antonio coach has against his old team, but it looks as if there's gonna be some blood spilled later this year when these two teams meet.

To be continued...

[quote86d4717="Grid Iron"]Congrats, Stretch, your team sucked less than mine!

Seriously, though, I am picking your team to win it all.

You heard in here first! :D[/quote86d4717]

With all due respect, GI...have you been drinking?!?!?

There's no way I'm winning it all this year.

I appreciate the vote of confidence/vote of doom. :)
