[quotea7224f6="wademoore"]I don't know why I'm getting Boise and Fargo so mixed up today... I guess it's that whole 'city in the middle of nowhere' thing... Anyway... I guess Fargo was hoping for last minute trade offers?[/quotea7224f6] Hey, Boise is the #1 trend setting city in the CFL! |

Rumors run wild! Chicago managment reaffirms their happiness with Artie Brady as their starting RB. He has been a workhorse and should be the man in Chicago for years to come. |

I have to go to work until about 6, I dont think it will make it to my pick by then- but if it does, I appolgize for the hold up and I will get it in as soon as I get home. |

Atlantic City may be willing to drop down, but it all depends on what happens with the #2 pick. |

[quote872f93b="wademoore"][quote872f93b="fantastic flying froggies"]dola - Mathias will get one last chance to get his ring in Detroit this season, and then he is out of here![/quote872f93b] This is why I don't understand this move.. Why overpay to get a young QB when you have one of the best QBs on the game who probably has at least 4 or 5 good years left in him, if not more? Seems with all of those picks you had you could get something that fit bigger needs?[/quote872f93b] One simple reason, money. Like you, I am sure that Mathias does have at least 4 or 5 good years left, the problem is I won't be able to afford these years. He's already costing me a lot of money, and I'd rather try and trade him next season when I can maybe get something for him. OK, there's another reason, but less rationnal (sp?). I just fell in love with the guy! I really believe he can be the superstar of this league for the next decade or so... |

Anyone else think that Fargo is getting used and abused this off-season? |

Wow... this is a shitty start to the draft. With Detroit grabbing Titone, FFF stopped Dwayne Bridges from becoming a Flat. |

Fargo is doing alright. Only mistake was getting nailed with his hand in the cookie jar on the QB. Tipping his hand cost him the chance to grab his guy. The trade down with me is a nice recovery to get some value since he wasnt taking the OT. |

If anyone got screwed it was me. I should have locked Titone in the closet and not let him out until Fargo paid up. Then I would have the guy I wanted and not had to take him #1. |

If anyone got hosed in all this...it is Atlantic City. He got a 1st, 2nd and 3rd for the #1 overall, which is bad in itself. Then Boise got a shit load for it, in trading it to Detroit. Then I screwed him by trading 1.2 to Chicago, who in turn took his guy. I understand why Atlantic City is upset. |
