[quote855c9c5="Doug5984"]1. 11-5, I honestly think my team is ready this year. 2. Tulsa, if not us then Denver 3. I think a team like Baltimore can sneak in and take it. 4. Charles Lindberg catches his first TD in over 2 seasons in week 1. 5. My rookies will play like rookies. 6. Butch Fulton once again carries the team and gets little recognition. 7. Donnie Lowe has more TDs than INTs, but is still under the 20 TD mark. 8. I will completely miss all of my predictions, and be picking in the top 10 again next year. And once again I will pick a WR and/or DT in the first round I actually meant to put in my predictions that I thought Tulsa would be the most improved team. Lots of talent and they should put it all together this year. |

I love being overlooked...that makes what I'm going to do that much better. |

[quotea44c2c6="Raven Hawk"][quotea44c2c6="Shooter"]1) Record of 9-6 sounds about right.[/quotea44c2c6] Which game will you be opting not to play? 9-6 infers that you will only be playing 15 games. I tell ya, those San Antonio schools might need to revisit their math programs. I figure I'll have the division sewn up by then and will forfeit the last game. |

1. 10-6 2. It will be a very tight race between Albany, Cleveland and Detroit, but I believe the Flats will take it. 3. Hartford is as scary as last season, and takes it all. 4. Toothpick Lang will revive his career in his new home of Boston. 5. Titone will finish the season as the Vampire starter. 6. The Great Lakes division will become the best in the Eastern Conference. |

If you think that you'll be able to win the division at 9-7, you must be smokin' the good shit. |

Well, he would have had he not torn his MCL in week 9. In just 9 games, he already had season best in rushing yards and TDs... 5. wrong. Wait 'till next season, young one. 6. very wrong! |

[quoted31d052="Joe"]1. 10-6, we will not collapse again this year 2. Toss up between Sacramento and Huntington Beach.. and Santa Cruz and Long Beach. I have no idea. 3. Honolulu 4. Everyone will be shocked at how little I run with Alexis Rounds, now that my passing game has legitimate targets. 5. HB's 7th round rookie RB wins Rookie of the Year. 6. The entire CFL gets meatholed.[/quoted31d052] 1. Almost right. 9-7 and we won the division. We did the opposite of last year's collapse, getting hot down the stretch. 2. Yep, it was very close to the end. 3. Could very well happen 4. Not exactly. Doesnt matter who I have as receivers as Barre can't execute my run & gun gameplan, so I needed to stick with Rounds. 5. No chance in hell. 6. Not really. |

[quote0fd6814="Fonzie"]1. 9-7 - cap problems have limited our ability to infuse new talent[/quote0fd6814] Almost. We finished 10-6. [quote0fd6814]2. Honolulu will win the division again.[/quote0fd6814] *sigh* [quote0fd6814]3. Hartford will win it all.[/quote0fd6814] tbd [quote0fd6814]4. Yet another of our offensive linemen will suffer a season- or career-ending injury, making this the third season in a row for such an event.[/quote0fd6814] C David Pless was lost for six weeks due to injury, and RT Matthew Pitman is currently on the shelf with a broken fibula. He's probably done for the year. [quote0fd6814]5. Two key injuries are all it will take to convert my borderline-playoff team into a top-5 draft choice position.[/quote0fd6814] We had well more than two key injuries, but somehow managed to stay afloat. QB Hogan missed 3 games, we had multiple injuries on our O-line, starting CB Keven Biggs played just six games while his fellow starter Jeremy "pussy" Rosenberry played all of four snaps this year. DT Kenneth Neubauer is missed the last two games and will be out another 10 weeks, and, most crushingly, DE Lance Crane suffered a likely-career ending ACL injury in week 16. Despite all of this, we snuck into the playoffs. Amazing, and I have to give all of the credit for our success to me. I'm awesome. [quote0fd6814]6. Meatholes will be very happy to inherit such a good team and will make the playoffs as a rookie owner.[/quote0fd6814] ayup. [quote0fd6814]7. TurfToe's bowel problems will continue to plague the league, resulting in league-wide insistence that he eat at least two salads per day and be responsible for stocking the league restroom with a steady supply of Glade[size=70fd6814](TM)[/size0fd6814] air freshener.[/quote0fd6814] I was spot on with this one, but I wish I hadn't been. |

[quote7b2fa67="timmynausea"]1. 9-7. We have the talent to make the playoffs, but the cohesion is absurdly bad, so it's hard to know what to predict. 2. Seattle. Any of the 4 teams could win it, but Seattle may have improved their secondary enough to take the division. 3. Hartford. 4. Seattle really makes the playoffs this year. 5. Toothpick Lang has his first 1000 yard season going for over 1500 and with a little luck coming close to Alexis Rounds' rushing records. 6. Oregon finally has a losing season. I don't know how GI has had so much success with no talent at QB or RB, but eventually Kuhn's interceptions have to catch up. (Please?)[/quote7b2fa67] 1. I did better than I expected. 2. Seattle didn't get it done. 3. tbd 4. Seattle missed the playoffs again. I've missed on them two years in a row. 5. Sort of. Toothpick had his first 1000 yard season, but injury prevented him from getting to 1500. 6. Finally! And now with all the cap space they'll have, they probably won't have another losing season for years. 7. Further down I said that Tulsa would be the most improved team. They were quite a bit better, but Boise going from 3-13 to 13-3 was a bigger improvement. |

[quoteb335112="TurfToe"]1. 9-7 - The inability to sign free agents will limit our ability to improve on last year's record. 2. Honolulu 3. Denver may just repeat. 4. Las Vegas plays a significant part in Tuscon's offensive linemen issues and may even break in their punter for them. 5. 'Meatholed' will be the new buzz word that takes the place of Shreveported in most game analysis. Only time will tell exactly what being meatholed means... 6. TurfToe's bowel problems will be found innocent. Expert witness testimony will prove that Fonzie's ranting and raving about his Toros and Packers in the johnnie were the cause of the putrid smelling hot air previously associated to TurfToe, resulting in league-wide insistence that he be provided a lifetime supply of Tic-Tacs by the league.[/quoteb335112] 1. Missed 9-7 by 1, went 8-8. Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda but Olsen's leg couldn't handle the pressure. 2. Hmmm, got that one. 3. Denver may just also be in Colorado too... 4. We showed Tucson's line how easy it is to play sloppy and commit stupid penalties. I sure hope that doesn't hurt their playoff run. It turns out that it wasn't Fonzie's ranting about his Packers that was causing the smell, it was the Packers themselves. PU! |

[quote839c8b5="Taco"]1. 8-8 - my team is still old (15 players with 10+ years of experience) and not getting any better[/quote839c8b5] I did better than I expected (11-5) thanks to my overachieving defense. Last year I had one of the worst pass defenses in the league, and I used my two first round picks on cornerbacks (Mills and Slatus) and now we had one of the better pass defenses. [quote839c8b5="Taco"]2. Charleston should repeat as division champs[/quote839c8b5] I got one right! [quote839c8b5="Taco"]3. Hartford - went 15-1 last year, and now they've added NT Albert Poole[/quote839c8b5] tbd [quote839c8b5="Taco"]4. Honolulu WR Jody Beech's ratings take a huge hit once he returns from his injury[/quote839c8b5] I think this will be in my prediction list next year as well. [quote839c8b5="Taco"]5. FFF resists the temptation to play Titone during the regular season[/quote839c8b5] I got another one right! [quote839c8b5="Taco"]6. The Seattle Thunderbirds finally make the playoffs[/quote839c8b5] Nope. The best hope for that team is to move to the San Andreas division. [quote839c8b5="Taco"]7. Michael Browning has over 1,000 yards receiving for the first time in his career[/quote839c8b5] Browning finished with 870 receiving yards. He seems to be inconsistent. Some days he completely disappears, while other days he is a superstar. Hopefully consistency will come with experience. |

[quoteb191380="JeeberD"]1. 4-12 2. Denver 3. Hartford. They look quite formidable. 4. Dustin Hayes will throw more TDs than INTs. 5. Tulsa will set a team record with seven wins. 6. Ernest Lorenzo, reunited with his favorite receiver (Chris Chavez), will have another great year in Cleveland.[/quoteb191380] 1. Wrong, but for a good reason. Hayes and Sonkin really stepped up and played well this season. 2. Correct. 3. TBD 4. Correct! 5. Half correct. Tulsa did set a team record for wins, but with ten instead of a mere seven. 6. Lorenzo took a step back this season and looked like the Ernest of old... |
