I sent him a PM saying he was on the clock and could make his pick but the clock has not started yet... and also to please post if he is working trades / just waiting / whatever- just so we know whats going on with the pick.

Like I said, I'm just antsy given I'm missing my whole draft in all liklihood. Although, do you think we'll still be in the 5th round by the 15th? :lol:

Interesting choice for Memphis. I didn't have Baump in the top 10 in my mock draft, but I also don't think I interviewed him.

Baump was an excellent choice. Before I had a shot at Hutchinson, I really liked Hartman and Baump.

Vic, don't worry about holding anything up, the draft clock doesn't start for another 6 days or so.

For those of you who are wanting people to make a pick ASAP, you will get flamed relentlessly if you start flaming people for not picking. This is why I hesitated to make my pick so soon because we will now be experiencing draft drama for a draft that hasn't officially started yet. :roll:

All,

There will be a slight delay. I've received a couple of pretty good offers for 1.7 and I'm weighing my options.

Good news! Practice got canceled tonight so I'll be making the pick or trading it between 8:00 and 8:30 Central.

I'll be having my pref list on and filled with players that I want to get at spots that are fairly realistic. I'll be sending a note to Taco as well. He and I have discussed this so I just need to get the whole thing written up. It pretty much depends on what I get at 1.14. It's wierd just setting a list up and hoping for the best, plus I may not be back in time for a stage or two of late FA, so this may not be the best draft I've ever had. Family first though and I'm looking forward to the vacation.

He's the guy I was hoping for at 1.09 as I knew Hartman wasn't going to be there. Sort of glad I traded up.

I thought about trying to get him by moving to 1.8 instead of 1.7 but I thought there was a good chance that he could be gone by 1.7.

I like his speed and receiving ability, I just hope size is not a major factor in the game.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it was turned on at some point, so he probably turned it off on purpose now to possibly explore different options (oh dear, now I'm starting to sound like Fonzie! :roll: )
