[quotebece1d4="Cheesehead Craig"][quotebece1d4="Shooter"][quotebece1d4="Cheesehead Craig"]Are we going to get a draft file tomorrow?[/quotebece1d4]

One thought on this is to hold off on processing any draft results until after the draft is finished. This gives everyone some time to possibly trade for or away drafted players if desired.

Also, by updating the draft it has a tendancy to possibly alter selections. If someone has a need in one position and has a player bust out a bit, it may force them to draft differently in subsequest rounds.

I know this would not be a popluar request, but maybe we should hold off on posting the results until after the draft is complete. Heck maybe it'll even add some incentive to draft faster knowing you can't see your results until we're done with the draft.[/quotebece1d4]
I was being sarcastic. It was a commentary on the extremely poor showing on the day 1 picks.[/quotebece1d4]

I understand the joke, but Shooter brings up a good point. I can honestly say that the file being posted altered my draft strategy last year. I drafted on DE relatively high (2nd or 3rd round) When I saw that he wasn't what I'd hoped for, I made another pick of a DE to compensate.

I like the idea of not posting a file until the end of the draft.

I'd be interested to see what the majority's opinion of this was. I know how I'd vote.

As long as it is no more work for TLK (meaning he does not have to enter all 224 picks in one day) I could care less if a file came out during or after.

It takes a while to enter the picks. I'm fine with waiting, as long as nobody expects a file immediately after the draft.

Gah, sorry guys, wish I could have set my draft. Ah well, at least he wasn't a talentless DE drafted based on his name alone. At least he was a talent-less player at a position of need :) Would have taken Preece too

My prediction is that Washburn will be an above average starter. You could have done much worse.

Perhaps, but I've always made it a rule in any FOF game I've played, never draft a QB where they have a zero in any current bar, I've seen only one success at any level

I'll give you my 3.20 for him, that's when I planned on taking him.

GStelmack has made an utility for entering draft picks, "Draft Recorder"... works great and saves a lot of time and effort

hmmm....

I thought there was an issue with this. I know the FOFL had an issue with similar names or something like that. I'll give it a try this year.

Poll up in the owners lounge about when to release the draft file.

The draft is complete. We made pretty good time this year.

I'll get the file up first thing in the morning. I have to be at work in an hour, so it's not going to happen tonight.
