[quotea1b6d0a="JJ Smitty"] That kicker better not have ever missed and have 65 yard kicking power... He is a career 76% kicker (58-76) with a long of 57. But Miami won the championship the year after he was drafted, so I guess he outsmarted us all. |

[/quotee48bcbb] There was only one other player I was thinking of taking, and that was the CB taken by Tampa right after me, but with my Safety also playing corner we beat your ass twice last year |

[quotec54c588="Doug5984"]Damn you- I really wanted Garcia Oh well, now Tulsa has 2 WRs named Booker[/quotec54c588] Nothing soothes the "buyer's remorse" after making a pick so much as having someone else curse you for taking the guy they wanted. Thanks Doug and TurfToe! |

Will be picking shortly. Sorry for the delay - RL kept me busy this morning.[/quote1dc6cdb] Damn you- I really wanted Garcia Oh well, now Tulsa has 2 WRs named Booker[/quote1dc6cdb] Garcia was the guy I was going to take at 1.19 if the G was taken by Seattle. I really liked the looks of Garcia but my need at G was overwhelming. It's too bad I'm going to have to have one of Grider's Gunmen taking shots at Garcia this season, I really thought he had a promising career ahead of him. A horse collar tackle should take care of any upside this kid may have had. |

[quote30381fa="Joe"][quote30381fa="TurfToe"] Nothing personal Fonzie, I'll save the personal attacks for your pro-Packer drivel. Packers suck.[/quote30381fa] The most accurate fact I've seen on this thread so far. |

Oh dear me their defense looks to be terrible. |

[quote5b36a64="Joe"]what about the offense? They haven't replaced Rivera and Wahle yet, have they?[/quote5b36a64] No, they haven't settled on starters at guard. Will Whittaker, a 7th round pick, has looked good and might win the RG spot. But nothing is set in stone (despite Mike Sherman saying that he wanted to settle on starters shortly after their second preseason game to give them a chance to gel in the last two games). Despite the unrest at guard, I think the offense will be fine. Their running game might be slightly hurt by the transition, but the passing game shouldn't be affected much. And they just re-signed Bubba Franks, which will help. I'm far more worried about the defense, especially with how slowly Grady Jackson has been recovering. And let's not even mention the secondary...I'm likely to bust an aneurysm over that mess. |

Didn't we agree to strip bug of all future draft picks after he won the second title? I thought I remembered voting on that. |

Sweet... After deciding to take Shannon instead of Salvea at 1.21, Salvea is still available at 1.28... |

Here's a question: If Honolulu were to miss this pick, how would the automatic pick be determined for them? (Assuming they don't have list up and turned off.) |

Dola - I decided to read his last post on fofc and he mentioned that he had a final to go to. At least that is a somewhat legit excuse. Too bad he decided to check in on the werewolf thread and not the cfl, though. |
