Im very happy with my draft so far. Jumped up and got the #1 guy at OT for my LT of the future in LT Al Jordan. Used the early 2nd round pick from Fargo to get the RT of the future in Ackerman. Then slid my 2-4 pick twice and moved to 2-15. In return I got a couple improvements to my later round picks, a guy who could compete for the nickel back job and a 3rd rd pick next year. Then used the 2-15 for a DT that looks as good to me as the other 3 or 4 picked ahead of him. Cant complain about the draft. Will save that until the regular season when I start losing games.... |

FTR, I am almost on deck at 2.22 but am waiting to hear back from someone on a trade offer, so hopefully I will get that answer before it is my turn to pick. |

I can't access FOFC (it's blocked from my work), but can someone keep an eye out for MrBug and let him know that he'll be up shortly with his 2.29 pick? Otherwise I see another 8 hour delay happening. |

I agree I think that Chicago is having a very good draft thus far. |

[quotecfe2061="General Mike"]Any thoughts on LG Hugh Pannell?[/quotecfe2061] Looks like a solid pick to me. Pretty good value for a mid/late 2nd rounder. |

[quotef672f5a="General Mike"]Any thoughts on LG Hugh Pannell?[/quotef672f5a] I was very high on RG Walters, but was able to pick SLB at 2.8 and hope Walters made it to 2.14 because I knew Walters or Pannell should be around at 2.14. |

Anyone know how common the 28 year old rookie thing is? I've never really paid much attention before. |

[quote45d9409="Joe"] Chris Weinke[/quote45d9409] Well yeah. I actually meant in the game. I knew there was some variation with the rookie ages, but I had no idea it went as far as 27 or 28. I know periodically there are some old guys in real life. Usually, like Weinke, it's due to minor league baseball before college football. WVU had a guy graduate this year and sign with the dolphins as an undrafted free agent who is 26 or 27. He probably already got cut, though. They also have a freshman qb who is 25 or 26. |

i hope its not the case, but could this be fallout from people bitching about the Jody Beech contract? |

I'm waiting on a PM reply - but will make my pick within the allotted time (we're doing 2 hours now, right?) And re: MrBug - I think we've been pretty kind up to this point. If he doesn't show for his second rounder I say he forfeits it (as per his own recommendation). |

Maybe he'll show up for this upcoming pick and it won't be a problem, though, hopefully. |
