break up the archs. we won three in a row. the bad thing is we scored 23 points which ties a season high. quinn shore keeps keeps calling into the sports talk radio shows saying how bad our qb sucks.

Very narrow win for us vs. El Paso and we can almost smell the WC race. We aren't blowing away anybody but we are competitive more consistently than the initial 4 weeks and relatively healthy. With that being considered, we are likely to still compete for one of those WC spots down the home stretch.

Hosting MIA in the rain (a detail I missed during my GP), we got the better of them in week 1 giving Hughes a hard time and Alexander owning rookie T Cloude all game, never know with these division games though.

We are smooth to open things and get a TD called back on a hold and then get picked in the endzone by goddamn Otis Perry (his 7th against our franchise). MIA goes backwards though and we can't move it with the rush and doubling of Crabtree leading to us pinning them deep. MIA gets a 1st via penalty and two big runs and a s30 yard creen get them to our RZ and they pound it in for a 7 point lead.

A nice KR sets us up well and Woodard stays away from teh double and hits the vet Sheldon for 30 yards to give us a 1sst and goal but back to back pressures mean we only get 3 points. Hughes is avoidign the rush and another screen helps them move i ta bit and they pin us at our 5, we are runnign well adn spreading out short passes but take a huge sack at midfield only ot have Crabtree bail us ou twith a huge grab over double coverage and we are use our TE platoon to nudge it across the goalline. MIA can't do much on teh 2 minute drill so that si halftime.

Feel like we coudl be wining by a lot mroe even with the EZ pick but at least we are up. Just have to keep executing and avoid big mistakes.

Our own rush nullifies MIA first series, we lean on the running game and a coupel short passes / scrambles to get into their RZ again but can't pound i tin after getting a 1st on their 5 yard line so jsut get 3 poitns. MIA uses some passing ot the backs to get into FG range and keep our advantage at 3 points. We go 3andO as the receivers can't separate and MIA faces a 4th and 1 and opt to tie things up with 13 minutes left.

We can't keep Woodard clean and MIA has a nice PR to avoid being pinned. We tackle their RB on the 3rd down pass to regain possession and get a ncie 30 yard screen from oru RB with 15 tacked via penaltyand then Crabtree break free to set up a 1st and goal but we take a sack on 3rd and it is an 86 yard strip sack 6 for MIA. A 3rd personal foul on MIA helps us et ot the orange zone and WR Fence is tackled just short of the sticks on a 3rd and 20 with 4:30 left and we settle for 3 but are still down 4. Ou rD gets the 3andO and we regain the ball with 2:44 left and a familiar and soem pass pressure lead to us turning it over on downs. We do get it back at our 3 with 1:06 left but without TOs and Woodard promptly throws a pick-6.

GG MIA, y'all battled well and made soem great plays.

Our D played great again which is nice to see, other than scmrables and one big run we bottled up the running game and had them at 50% completion and 2/11 on 3rd. We totally shut down their WRs awtih their 3 leading receivers being RBs. Rookie Cloude did a better job on Alexander this game and we coudln't convert our rush into a sack but once though.

Our own running game was solid yet unspectacular as has been the case all season long with the leading rusher actually being Woodard himself as MIA put us under fire with 14 hurries, 2 sacks and 8 scrambles for Woodard with Ernie Nichols leading the way. We really struggled in the intermediate game that normally is such a big part of our O going 4/18.

Easy to blame the 2 big errors for the L but our pass pro is a big problem and more teams are doublign Crabtree now. We can still be productive and dangerous if the protection holds up there and not much we can do about it now other than wait for cohesion to start being a force multiplier to our talented but relatively new OL.

Would be interesting to know how we would fare with a game manager instead of Woodard under center. He is immensely talented but seems like there are a couple games each eyar that he pretty much loses for us.

Huge game with El Paso up next, if we stumble then they are jsut a half game back in the division. We finally get our TE back though which should help our pass pro as well as dangerous options when facing a doubled Crabtree.

Typically close game between the Pride and the Militia. We have played much better the last two weeks against high quality opponents. Picton is back next week to knock some rust off.... We could go on a big run, but it won’t be enough. Probably the most disappointing performance this year has been by WR Hitchcock who had played so well for us in previous years. When Picton went down, he just couldn’t step up. That and our kicker has been wildly inconsistent.

This is going to be an interesting 2nd half of the season. My big offseason acquisition, CJ Russell, has been "Out 3 weeks" for the past 3 weeks. I expect a miraculous recovery this week. New Orleans looks like they finally figured it out. I'm sure that the Militia will make a run with Picton back.

Also happy to get the official Tennessee sweep!

Well we avenge our week 1 loss to Death Valley. I tried play around with the offensive game plan and it seemed to have worked a little bit better than what was out there previously. Slowly getting the hang of this game although I have a long ways to go to make the offense do what I want it to. Defense is still doing very well this year. (way better than 27th). It was great to see the team be resilient after a poor start. We dominated the second half. Long way to go but playoffs are still a possibility. We'll see what we can do.

Cloude seems to be starting to play better. Our Oline hasn't been what I was hoping for this year but we do have 2 new linemen, one being a rookie. At least the backfield was making plays in the receiving game because our WRs sure weren't.

Nichols and Miyabuchi did a good job of getting pressure and the defense won the game. I'm sure you'll be glad when Perry decides to retire.

We just need El Paso to get the win next week and us to take care of Denver and the division is still there to be had.

LOL...I guess I didn't put 2 and 2 together that you were the owner of Seattle in USFL. If it makes you feel any better we were spanked by a 2-9 team today in that league. :D

we had you beat.... all we had to do was NOT give up a 62 yd TD pass in the last minute and we'd be 5-3-1....

GG Denver.

Finally, both sides of the ball decided to actually show up for the same game. Clements threw for a modest 235 yards but sprinkled in 2 TDs. Our DBs pulled down 3 INTs though and both teams had a ton of fumbles.

Next week a crucial division game against Death Valley.

Do not attempt a Tennessee Sweep without the requisite livestock. The simple act of substituting a pregnant donkey for foaling mare could be fatal.

After a little more research I found this warning to be pretty consistent, whereas the limit on the total number of participants and spectators is more of a guideline than a rule with very few side effects or consequences.
