At El Paso ina big game if we want to stay atop the division. They excel downfield on both sides of the ball despie nothaving much at WR and a mediocre pass rush. We had to step away from our single high coverage a bit but feel like we should be able to have success on O running and picking on there non-stud CB. BOth teams are tied for league worst in TOs so that will likely be a factor as well.

ELP is marching with nice intermediate passing but cough it up on a scramble. We can't run to convert on 3rd and short and punt i taway quickly. More intermediate passing from ELP but they throw a pick at midfield. We gget our own running and intermediaate game working and get our TD but without a TO ELP has ittle trouble equalizing. We come up just short on a 3rd and long and ELP hits the slot man on a fade downfield but opts to punt it away from our 33.

4 stright 3andOs bring us down to 5 minutes in teh half and then we get close to midfield only to get stuffed on 3rd and short again. ELP takes a dangerous sack inside their 10 and we don't have enough time to score again.

Weird game, feel like the big plays are gonna start up any second now.

We grind out a few convesions but coem up short on the long FG, absolutely nothing doing for ELP and we get back to runnig nand dinking but again get stuffed on 3rd and short and ELP has a nice PR to nearly midfield but a hold sets them back and they pin it at our 4. I think our 3rd failed completion on 3rd which is very uncharacteristic means we punt it again with ELP taking over with good fielp position.

And this time they string em together to go up 7. Woodard is looking sharp and scrambling when needed and we tie things up just inside of 7 minutes left. We tackle well and a drop kills ELP on 3rd. We get one nice gain from our RB and then go 3andO with the clock approachign 3 minutes. ELP is just as tootheless and a hold on the pR means we are backed up. A nice gain to our TE is called back on an Illegal Touch by the C (?!) and a hold on teh next play results in a Safety for ELP and they grind out the rest of the clock.

Ish...gonna have to deep dive my O again it looks like. Things were pretty even with us running a bit better but them getting more in teh air and they had th e2 TOs so you woudl think we would have won.

Really jsut a solid game by both Ds, no one had a run of more than 15 yards or even reach 3 YAC / catch. 4 drops hurt us quite a bit but then again Wyatt had 4 msifires himself. Game came down to our missed 3rd and short conversions as much as anything.

GG landshark, very competitive throughout.

With just a half game on the division lead adn splitting with our 2 rivals things will be interesting for sure down the stretch here.

Excellent writeup... it was a good, back and forth game.. that was a unfortunate series of plays for you late in the game, and we were able to take advantage...

Very pleased.. entering the season, we were last in power ratings, and last in franchise value... if not for a 62yd TD pass against us last week in the final minute.. the Rockets would be in first place 10 games into the season.. things are looking up for us..

nice to get the win against a very good team, and a very good GM.. see you next time, Ushikawa.. good luck

GG Texas,
We finally passed for over 200 yds in a game this season! Fulton was a machine this game as we decided to have him lead the way. Just tweaking things a little bit each week is helping. We've passed last years win total already so it's been a good season. Let's see, who's next? Wait.. Omaha? Shit.

A 98 yard interception return by OLB Vernon Hartman supported a mediocre offensive game against a stout Death Valley defense.

For the first time this season we didn't give up a sack.

GG Death Valley!

 Buffy Grueneich - The vampire slayer does Detroit ...

Terrifying pash rush. First drive ended in two sacks- looked like a looong game for Buffy, but some short passes and some run run made up for it.

Meanwhile, the DET run D is ... not really existing. DonĀ“t know why... To bad KCY dosnt have a RB - yet.

It is starting to look a lot like play offs for the STORM

GG Masked,

Channel #3 - 62 degrees and sunny with just a 8 mph breeze...Great day for football in Brooklyn.

The blocked punt by WR Cowher at the end of the second was big play. Quick hook on the rookie QB and Brooklyn got the win at home only to have to travel to Connecticut in 4 weeks.

Brawlers have been continued to be plagued by injuries on the OL. This week, Shin Splints, G Denson. Just when Brooklyn might have been healthy on the o-line against the Rounders. Not to complain because the Champs have had their share of injuries.

Good luck Turf...Channel #2 in the city of Lost Wages...

Dean

Well thought this would happen. Had a nice 5 game win streak end today at the hands of Tennessee. Too many Turnovers, giving up special team TD. Not a good performance for us. On to a Home game to get back on track !! I Hope.

GG BGBob...
Our team was fired up for Picton's first game back. He had a TD and the house was rocking.... You know, for the limited fans that were there......

Knowing we are kind of out of the playoff picture at this point we have circled our date with Detroit for the "What Should Have Been" Bowl.

GG. We were riding high there for a bit but it appears the wheels are finally starting to come off. I guess it's back to drawing board again this off-season.
