It's that time of year again, the preseason has just started and the regular season is just around the corner.

To continue with our tradition, this thread will compile our predictions for this upcoming season, and we can look back at it at the end of the season and laugh at ourselves.

Here are the usual categories:
1. Predict your team's record
2. Predict the winner of your division
3. Predict the CFL bowl winner
4,5,6+ Add any other predictions that you have

And to start things off, here are mine:

1- Detroit will finish 9-7 (tough schedule, playing the Atlantic division)

2- Detroit, tied with Chicago at 9-7 wins it on tiebreakers.

3- Tampa Bay will shock the CFL and win the SuperBowl just one year after going 6-10. They will spoil Honolulu's bid for a repeat in the process.

4- This will a breakout year for my 2004 1st round pick DE Flowers, who will finish with a double digit number of sacks.

5- The Cleveland Flats will have a [ib57b7ff]very [/ib57b7ff]long season...

6- Motormouth Vasquez will once again provide more entertainment off the field than on it...

1. Either 11-5 or 5-11 depending on injuries.. my depth worries me a lot
2. Charleston
3. Honolulu

I appreciate FFF's prediction... I think we're capable of it, but like I said I think we are 1 injury away from disaster.

1. 10-6 (I think we made some improvements, but anything can happen)
2. El Paso with a repeat, baby! :D
3. Durham. With Taco back at the helm the Bulldogs will be tough to stop. Of course, I still think that Metz sucks huevos... :)
4. Butch Fulton will find it difficult to return from his injury and will finish the season just shy of 1000 yards.
5. In an important Week 15 matchup, Denver's Joel Sanderson will pick off Ernest Lorenzo three times and lead the Dynomite to a victory. :(
6. Still hurting for a RB, Fargo will go the air even more often this season, surpassing last season's impressive 40.8 pass attempts per game.

1. 10-6 (we're better, but probably not better enough)
2. Honolulu (again, dammit!)
3. Santa Cruz (the balance they have on their roster is downright scary)
4. I will continue to totally rock.

Yeah about $20 mil over right now, hopefully I left enough room to renegotiate some contracts to get 2 yrs out of this squad.

1. The Rounders will be lucky to win 4 games this year.

2. It's Honolulu's Division to lose.

3. One of the Louisiana squads should make a run at the Championship this year.

4. The Rounders will have one of the Top 3 picks next year.

5. QB Lenny Olsen will have one of the higher Yards Per Attempt stats. Chicks dig the long ball ya know.

Wow, 3 out of the 4 Atlantic Division teams have already been picked to win the CFL Bowl. Now that's why we're still the toughest division in the league...

My predictions for the Durham Bulldogs:

1. We'll finish 8-8 which means we'll be 32-32 over 4 years

2. Tampa Bay will win a tie breaker over Charleston for the Atlantic Division title

3. The CFL Bowl will be won by Detroit

(Stolen from FFF)
4. Motormouth Vasquez will once again provide more entertainment off the field than on it...

5. Michael Browning will win offensive rookie of the year

What you didn't know when you traded for him is that he has a bad knee ligament that will break any day now and end his career.

2. Shreveport - I've gotta have some pride. :)
3. Santa Cruz - They're gonna be tough this year.
4. LCB Brady Scott (SHR) will end up dressed in the Pride's mascot uniform by the end of the season. Damn that long term contract!
5. Motormouth will have less sacks than Shreveport's DT, Jerald Barber.
6. El Paso will regret spending so much money on a tight end. (you know who I'm talking about :))

2 Denver. Will come down to our games against El Paso and we've had the edge the last couple of years. Fargo will improve on last year, but as we are $25m and El Paso are $35m over the cap, there time will come next year. Tulsa look full of potential, but it's not going to happen this year
3 Santa Cruz

1. I bettered my prediction by 1 game!
2. Correctomundo!
3. Way off base as the Privateers failed to make the playoffs.
4. Absolutely correct!
5. Jerald Barber missed 3 games with an injury. I'm sure if he would have played the full 16, he would have at least tied Motormouth. (OK, maybe not)
6. You'll have to ask Jeebs as to what portion of this years cap hell was caused by signing his TE and whether or not it was worth it.

Oregon. Those new uniforms will induce nausea in all of their opponents. :)

[bbae455a]3. Predict the CFL bowl winner[/bbae455a]
I think FFF gets off the schnide and wins it next year.

[bbae455a]Other predictions:[/bbae455a]
Don't get used to the Wolfpack being bottom feeders. I predict playoffs in 2 years and a bowl win for us in 4.

That is all. Now where's my wife?

I was relatively accurate here...
1. I went 8-8 because why? Oh yeah, injuries.. my #1 RB and #1 and #2 WR's went down with injuries.
2. Durham ran away with it
3. Honolulu pulled off the repeat (only the third FOF MP team ever to do so)
