At Boston, who I don't think we play much at all but they sure do have some talent especially that QB and OL and I didn't find much to exploit in their D either. We went back to a single high focus on D as they throw a ton of short passes and I don't think pass rush alone will be enough to get them off the field consistently. Would be great to get a W and be able to rest some guys next week...

We tackle well enough to get them to punt at midfield and they pin su at our 2. Holzer and the big boys get us out of our end but we can't complete the 3rd and short pass. BOS taks over with great field position but we force and recover a fumble Holzer busts one but we again can't convert against 3rd down pressure with C Fulle rgetting banged up again in his first game back ina bit. Our K knocks through the 50 yarder for some points. we tackle them well on screens and get it back with Crabtree providing a ncie spark via YAC before Holzer gets going. We battle back from a holding call and get 6. BOS strings together some completions with minor YAC and we stop them on 3rd but were offsides.

And they convert Power and break loose on ashort pass for a TD. The penalties are too much this time and BOS pounces with a DPI and big chunk via YAC to WR Daly to set up a 1st and goal. They get called for a hold but find WR Shelton downfield for the go ahead TD. Holzer does work as a runner and receiver to get us to mdifield and Fence takes a screen to the RZ and then grabs the TD. Our pressure is getting through despite having lost ALmeida. We are beign highly efficient both runing and passing but a holding call ends our momentum. BOS oes for it facing a 4th and 2 at their own 34 just otuside of 2 minutes and WR Sanford rips off a chunk before WR Daly gets another chunk all the way to put them back up.

We have over 10 0yards rushig but are struggling to string together completions especially downfield. BOS is getting theirs in teh air...seems liek it will coem down to if we can tackle or nto on D or start hitting those downfield passes.

COnsecutiev holds gives us a 2nd and 30 but we hit WR GIbbons way downfield for teh conversion, Holzer gets us inside the 10 but we get pass happy and settle for 3 and a 1 poitn deficit. Daly gets another chunk for BOS and is up to 6/7 for 135 with 2 TDs before Klingbiel scramlbes into the endzone. We mix it up well but come up short on 3rd and 4 but our 53 yard FG attempt is blocked. And we can't stop Klingbiel and those WRs on teh short stuff as BOS goes up 15. Crabtree gest us a chunk and S Goodwin leaves teh gaem for BOS, we get another holding call but Fence bails us out with a 32 yrd YAC TD but the XP is blocked so we remain down 9.

We get teh tackle jsu short of the sticks on 3rdf and 10. Crabtree gets us a couple conversions but we run out of steam still in our end. BOS dinks their way to our 48 and pisn us at our 1 with 8 minutes left. And we go downfeild to Crabtree (which is def not in our GP from oru own 1) and he rips off 40 yards. Holzer is up to 12 targets as we were trying to go after the MLB in coverage but this is a bit excessive. Two more downfield completions ot the WRs and we are at thei 9 with possesion WWR Gibbons leaving the game. We run it 3 striaght times including on 3rd and 7 as that wonky AI decision making in teh RZ down multiple scores rears its ugly head but cut the lead to 6 with 5 minutes left. BOS takes it down to nearly the 2 minute mark before we take over at our 20. But we try to hit Te Lake downfield on what must be a timing throw and it is picked.

Well BOS played very well today but I have ot think this L falls on me. Way too many 122 plays especially to Holzer and we racked up 14 penalties for 127 yards and the vast majority were on our OL. Abysmal 3rd down performance by both teams at 2/11 and 2/10 and those factors really limit hwo much a good running game can contribute to winning the game.

Losing Gibbons for 5 weeks with a concussion really effs with our 113 package as we have nothing behind hi but the raw rookie Sigrest, guess he will get a sho tto play above hsi bars.

we lost, too... good game, hartford.... not a great performance from us with so much on the line..

ush- can you explain to me how you still have a chance to win division?

if you win next week and i lose--- we will have split- same division record- but i'll still have better conference record.. so i'm thinking i got it clinched-

but you still have %37 chance... what am i missing?

For intradivision ties it goes to same opponent games first before conference record. So BOS, ATL; SCZ, DVY, TEX, BKN, HAR, ACI:
We went 6-2 in those games
You went 5-3.

your teams always gave me fits when I was KCY so I didnt take this one lightly, and it was a battle till the end. A 4th quarter fumble sets us up for the tying score and we kick the FG to win as time expires.

I think we just got lucky on this one. The two fumbles on your first two drives were the difference maker. We went up 16 in the first and just barely hung on to win. Good luck in the playoffs.

And just to point it out I'm 7-1 in those games. 8)

Which won't matter one bit if we don't win! If we lose we need LV and Seattle to both lose so it's a must win for us.

GG bbriders,

Those fumbles got us in an early hole and to compound it my punter was seriously injured on the next drive. He is also my kick holder and we went on to miss one FG and have another one blocked. Not to mention my kicker took over punting duties which is never good. We had a chance to win but couldn't pull it off and now have lost our last three games.

That has happened to us so many times I've lost count..... It was nice to get it reversed for a change.....It felt like you had the game in control the whole way, but the Militia are great with smoke and mirrors......
