Offesnively we jsut hope not to shoto ourselves in thefoot, we are considerign moving around our OL a bit but decided to stay the course for this one thoguh we may regret that. Defensively we are gonna keep bringing the heat some but also will drop 8 a bit which is an old tactic of ours that we haven't used much this year. Unlike in years past I think we can get through their protection some and while their receivers may not be as technically talented as in years past they still have speed and may burn us downfield some. A key battle will be our overmatched rookei SS Michl against TE Kimsey.

An OL penalty helps us get MIA off the field, we run it to the orange zone but then take 2 sacks and are lucky to both rcover a fumble and get a defenseive holding call and battle back to FG range and some JJohnstoen scrambles get us a 1st and goal and over come another sack on route to 6. MIA converts one 3rd and short but get stackled short on the 2nd one.

TE Moffit jmpstarts us with a screen chunk and then grabs the 3rd and 10 pass at the sticks, we keep droping back and the rush is killing us and we miss a longer FG. MAI converst another 3rd and 2 and also uses the TE on a tougher 3rd and gets 3 points on the board. We pound it to midfield but then try a shot play and throw a pick. MIA battles a bit but ends up giving it back to us inside of 2 minutes. TE MOffitt gets anothe rYAc gain for us but a hld sets us back until a personal foul on MIA gives us new life but we run outta time.

Very tight game, not sure how long our D can hold them off and are only up 4 points.

We go 3and0 as the run gain sare drying up, Hughes hits us with a timely scramble chunk but we get them into another 3rd and logn and off the field. 3and0 for us as we can't do anything dinking or running and MIA gets a nice PR to start near midfield. MIA battles to the orange zone and beats oru 6 man rush (double CB blitz) on 3rd to convert and find TE Kimsey int eh endzone on 3rd and goal from the 11. Another TFL for MIAs D but then we hit our shot to Sigrest and eh blows through the secondary for a 79 yard TD strike. Hughes and th erunign game get them across midfield easily but then we tighten up and they are forced to boot it into the endzone. We get flagged and coem up short on 3rd and 13 and have ot punt it back.

MIA keeps running well but finds themselves in another tough 3rd so we get it back, we convert our own tough 3rd and then a DPI bails us out on another. TE Moffitt and WR Fence get us some YAC gains to move the chains and into the RZ and we opt to kick the FG facing a 4th and 1 at their 9 to go up 7. MIA is grinding but they cough it up and we recover at their 39. We get a couple completions ot move into clock killing mode in the RZ but once moreopt to kick facing a 4th and 1 but that makes it a 2 score game jsut outside of 2M. And rookei SS Michl steps in front of a screen for the sealign pick 6.

Our one breakaway TD and MIAs defensive penalties may have been the diffrenec in this one. They really bottle dup our ru nafter the first partof the game and outgained us on teh groudn which almost never happens. Hughes mostly navigated our rush well but we held them to under 2 YAC/catch.
