Open your multiplayer game, go to Controls - Participants - Import game files - to grab the new stage file. Quick Ushi write up. Backup QB Walton will get the start this week and we are going run heavy despite that being DVYs strength on D. Hoping we can win up front in a big way on D against what is a very vulnerable OL but our best rusher DE Stai is out as well. TOs will likely determine the winner. We grind out 3 1sts on the ground and then hit WR Givens on a catch and run to get us to the RZ and Walton finds the easy RZ target Sigrest for 6. DVY rips off a chunk right up the gut to get across midfield but then we push them back to a 3rd and 20 but they hit the deep shot to convert anyways but we stifle them inside the 20 so they come away with just 3 points. We battle back from a holding call with WR converting a 3rd and very long on a screen we grind out 3 more 1sts on the ground but then cough it up on a strip sack and are lucky to recover but WR Rice comes through again grabbing the corner route to convert anther 3rd and 15 or so. A defensive penalty gifts us new life on 3rd down in the RZ and Walton scrambles into the endzone. We tackle well to force the 3andO and dink and dust our way to the orange zone but get pushed out on a hold and boot it into the endzone for a touchback. DVY hits two deep shots on 3rd downs to get to FG range but once again are stifled closer ot the endline and settle for the FG. We recover another of our own fumbles and then hit our own shot to TE Moffitt and Sigrest grabs his 2nd TD from inside the 5. So far, so good...the fumble recoveries have helped but we are getting TDs to their FGs even if the per play numbers are pretty similar. We heat up Klingbiel on early downs and stop the long pass this time and a ncie PR sets us up in DVY territory. Walton shows off hsi intermediate prowess and Sigrest grabs another GL TD. 3andO from DVY once more but we can't do muhch other than pin DVY at their 7. Klingbiel converts another tough 3rd and 15 or so but we hold up on ground vs 3rd and4th and short so no blood is drawn. We get back to business moving it down the field and into the endzone for a 35-6 advantage with 13 minutes left and that is pretty much ballgame... |
