Do we really need midweek stages run between exhibition games?

That's a lot of time devoted to the preseason, in which most people rest their starters, especially since we sim each exhibition week separately.

Perhaps we could just do one midweek after Week 3.

That will save us three days, and gets the preseason done in exactly one week.

Of course, I'd be happy with no midweeks at all except before Week 1 and after Week 5.

If we do not do a midweek, someone runs the risk of a player getting hurt and the computer subbing in a starter, then an injury happening there. I'm voting a big "hell-no" to getting rid of the midweek.

I would be in favor of a midweek bewteen each game for the reasons already mentioned. I also think we could run a stage each day to make it go as fast as possible. That's only one day between games for people who don't want to export a midweek.

Personally it doesn't really matter to me since I bench all my starters and have scrubs playing most of the time...I'll go with whatever the majority likes

I like doing a stage every day with midweeks, thats how I do my league. But in the eNFL there are no midweek files ever, and it goes pretty smooth. You just need to make sure you have 45 active and no empty spaces in your depth chart when signing a FA on gameday, and its all good. So it works either way.

I prefer having a midweek between each game...
