I imagine Deason will play a little harder against Chicago.

Is there a link to see everyone who has been drafted so far this year?

Thanks in advance,
The General

New York is about to run out of time.

The clock says it's due by 7:10 pm EST, but well past that.

Is it really running 3 hours, but the notice on the board only says 2 hours?

I know I made my pick a little before 3 pm and it gave Atlantic City until 5:50 to make the next pick, so at that point it was definitely giving 3 hours per pick. I assume it hasn't changed since then, but I haven't been following it as closely.

I'm going to do something about this in five minutes.

Cmon, he should lose the pick! Not someone else picking a guy that I had slated to pick. :x :x :x :x

And how exactly are we going to do that? You can not do that in the game. This is the fairest possible solutiion.

Thought last draft we had the draft a bad punter philosophy. Oh well, should be some kind of penalty and not a fairly good guard!

[quotee072c92="Stretch"]I know that TEs are usually a dime a dozen in FOF but I had him as 1st round talent. I need other positions but I couldn't resist snapping him up.

I might be getting rid of Robertson after all.[/quotee072c92]

I guess you know my take on him. He was my 2nd choice at the top of the 2nd range.

I'm going to be monitoring the times carefully (see my new post).

I think the problem is that some people don't completely understand how the utility works.

I initially didn't know you needed to set the utility to pick. Then, I thought you forfeited the pick or got skipped if you didn't pick in time.

I think because the utility is new and very different than what we used last time, some people are confused.

No problem GI just frustrating to watch someone take 3+hours of time and then see my guy come off the board so close to me, with out him making the pick.

If you guys have questions, feel free to ask myself, 3ric, or MC as we have all used this exact utility before...

However, I know it is not built-in to skip folks... that would be an entirely different set of code i would suspect, but the IHOF Draft (that this was built for originally) does not have something in the bylaws that calls for passing, it instead has something similar for the commish making the selection..

I hear ya. I would feel the same way.

Now I'm just gonna sit back until 11:07 so I can screw Boise.

I kind of agree. If your time passes, you lose the pick. Of course, that would create a heck of aheadache. But there really isnt any excuse for missing a pick. If you cant be around, just autopick.

Might wanna discuss this more before the next draft.... but I 'd be in favor of something like the lowest rated punter/kicker as punishment for a missed pick.

Sorry I just held things up there for a bit. I was waiting to make my pick so I didn't set up the auto stuff at all, and then my mom called.

That's a good idea.

There's really no reason not to have the autopick on.

i think we probably need to revisit our whole draft process with the new tool and based on several things that have happened..

I know that I expressed objections with the time limits we have set in the past, maybe that is one thing we need to re-address now that we have the tool and it causes us to run more efficient in and of itself so we could give some more time between picks.
