VPI has been gracious enough to allow us to use his draft utility. However, it comes with some issues in our league. I am not sure if the clock can be turned off and I have already confirmed that picks will not slide down.

I know this is a bad time to be bringing this up but decisions will need to be made pretty quickly. I would be in favor of adopting the IHOF draft policy as it moves along well.

We may find out we have a dead weight owner or two which may slow down the draft but I think the benefits far out weigh the non use of the utility at this point.

Thoughts?

The link to the draft app is:

http://www.thecfl.net/draftapp/index.php

Just use your boardname and password to get in.

In order for it to function properly, you'll always need to make your pick via this interface...and if you trade away a draft pick, you'll need to log into the application, check the pick, select the team and press the 'Trade Pick(s)' button.

Also, please check the links at the top of the board and take a look at the picks that are alloted for your team. I took the draft order out of the latest league file, but you may want to double check just to make sure.

I coded it per your specs...an eight hour clock for the first two rounds and a two hour clock for rounds 3-7. The time period between midnight and 8:00 am EST is a 'dead time'.

Adopting the IHOF draft rules for future offseasons would still be a good idea.

Where kind I find the pages that show who has already been drafted and who is available at each position? Or are those not available now?

Who has been drafted: There is a link at the top of the general discussion forum (http://www.thecfl.net/draftapp/draftorder.php) .. who is left - the only way I know to get that is from the draftapp...

on top of the general discussion forum, there's this three panel thing, the title of the right column "2007 Draft Class" is in fact a link that brings up whoever is available. Players already picked are striked in that listing...

I sent a PM over to Condors at FOFC. FM dynasties get a back seat when it comes to CFL draft time. :P

Thanks VPI- the utility is great!!!

MC or Wade- what are the IHOF's draft rules? Ours seem to work ok, but if they are better we could put it to a possible league vote...
