I'm going to just copy Triple f's '06 post and start it off. Just one thing no one can pick Santa Cruz this year as it was a big jinx last year It's that time of year again, the preseason has just started and the regular season is just around the corner. To continue with our tradition, this thread will compile our predictions for this upcoming season, and we can look back at it at the end of the season and laugh at ourselves. Here are the usual categories: 1. Predict your team's record 2. Predict the winner of your division 3. Predict the CFL bowl winner 4,5,6+ Add any other predictions that you have |

1. 11-5 2. The Pride - It's our time to shine . . . carpe diem, we'll soon be in cap hell. 3. Hartford 4. I will severely regret trading my '08 1st rounder to draft Stropka. And I probably won't have to wait long to come to a verdict on this one. 5. Shreveport breaks a record of their own and gets 3 players on the 1st or 2nd All-Pro teams. If I had to guess, it would be Koch, Barber, and Gregor. But I reserve the right to be wrong. 6. Shreveport fans come to Pride games in droves, filling the stadium to 80% of its capacity. |

[quote99bcd48="MrBug708"]1. 12-4 2. Myself 3. Tucson[/quote99bcd48] Bastard! I'm on to you! 1. 10-6 2. Honolulu 3. Honolulu 4. RB Daryl Bradley will [i99bcd48]not[/i99bcd48] lead the CFL in fumbles again. 5. The Tucson-Honolulu Week 17 matchup will not be as important as it appears - the division will have already been decided by that time. 6. RB Drew Holliday will struggle to duplicate his OROY campaign. 7. Las Vegas' RB Anthony Jennings will challenge top pick Alan Spearman for this year's OROY. 8. Paris Hilton's 15 minutes will come to a blissful, and grizzly, end. |

1. 8-8 2. Tucson, but only because Vegas steals one from Honolulu. 3. Santa Cruz 4. Las Vegas does NOT finish dead last in rushing this year. |

1. 8-8 2. Detroit 3. Detroit, Durham or Oregon 4. The Flats will be one of the most improved teams in the CFL. 5. Toothpick Lang will have his first 1,000 yard season 6. Honolulu's dominance is ended when they don't make the playoffs |

1. 9-7, we backslide after having to deal with Cap Hell. 2. Fargo, the fookin' bastards. 3. Detroit - fff finally gets his ring. 4. Tulsa gets swept by the Rockets (again) and wind up with another top five pick. 5. Dustin Hayes makes me look smart by destroying El Paso passing records left and right. 6. Ernest Lorenzo will lead Cleveland to a six win season. |

1. 4-12 - I have a bad feeling about this season. 2. Hartford - They were already scary, but the addition of Spearman seals the deal. 3. Detroit |

[quote4330b15="Fonzie"][quote4330b15="TLK"]6. Honolulu's dominance is ended when they don't make the playoffs[/quote4330b15] I'm confused. Does this mean HON gets bad or the Ring of Fire gets good? Neither is likely... Even if Tucson gets two from HBP and I get my predicted 1 from them, a lot of other teams will have to beat HBP for them to not make the playoffs. I don't know that HBP has enough good teams on their schedule for that to happen. Unfortunately. |

Perhaps he was suggesting that Ronnie Tu will suffer a lengthy injury? |

1. 6-10 2. Hartford 3. Detroit 4. Seth Keller has another rebound season to break his own single season sack record. 5. With know one throwing to Willie Golalic's side of the field, Carl Blades breaks the single season INT record. |

[quotecf5e259="General Mike"] 5. With know one throwing to Willie Golalic's side of the field, Carl Blades breaks the single season INT record. I don't have the schedule in front of me but I can make sure Willie G has another handful of tackles made on pass plays added to his stat line like last year. Jackpot didn't mind visiting his side of the field last year. |

1. 8-8 (my team isn't as strong as last year) 2. Charleston (has the talent to reclaim the Atlantic Division title) 3. Hartford (assuming Spearman doesn't hold out for long) 4. Dwayne Bridges will not put up big numbers again once teams start game planning for him 5. Tulsa will win their division (my prediction failed last year, but here it is again) 6. Motormouth makes some noise about getting a new contract |

1. 9-7. I have a very tough schedule this season, playing much improved Great Lakes teams as well as Durham, Boise, New York, Hartford, Seattle, Shreveport, Oregon, etc... 2. Detroit 3. Hartford - Combine a healthy Oberg with Spearman, and add a not well known yet very efficient defensive unit, and the result is just plain scary for the rest of us! 4. All owners will emulate MrBug and let the AI handle the day to day stuff in their quest for a CFL Bowl ring! 5. Grid Iron will come up with yet another alias and find some way to contribute great graphics to the league. 6. Great soundbytes will come out of the Las Vegas locker room... 7. I've run out of ideas... |
