The 34-22 beating I took in Detroit almost looks semi-respectable until you see that I was down 34-10 at the half, and that they averaged 6.2 yards per rush. No sir, this was the beating of a lifetime disguised as your average game.

Dola - Elsewhere in the terrible news department, QB Branden Lin has thrown as many interceptions (4) in the first two games this year as he did all season last year.

A tie? Meh...at least we didn't lose, I suppose. I've always had trouble gameplanning against 3ric...

Edit: So my shitty rookie kicker missed a 32 yard FG with 43 seconds left in overtime. I've had enough of the bastard, it's time to see what my punter can do back there.

Crap! I lost stud FB Shaun Easterday for 15 weeks with a torn triceps. That's TWO fullbacks that I have out for 15 weeks. And very little cap space to work with.

Sigh... :(

Another solid performance for the Attack, this time without getting killed on special teams.

I need to have a talk with my coach though - he ran Spearman only 12 times and backups Radke and Cassady a total of 16 times.

And of course LT Orumieh is out injured, thankfully for only a few weeks this time.

An appropriate statement regardless of who wins the New Orleans games! ;)

In Tucson news, I was pleased to see us come away with a win despite not playing our best game. QB "Colonel" Hogan had another one of his multi-pick games (despite being 82/90 in "avoid interceptions), RB Drew "Nancy" Holliday only got 16 carries (?!) to his backup's 12, our pass defense struggled, and the coach made some questionable decisions to pass the ball near the end of the game.

Still, a win is a win, and I'll take it. Good game, Shooter!

It's going to be a long season if we don't play much better than we did this week. Huntington Beach got bitch-slapped by New York. :x Nothing good to report out of this game. Plenty of bad. Penalties, injuries, poor execution...

Donnie Lowe threw 6 INTs- No question I lost...Time to tweak the game plan 45 pass attempts a game is WAY to high for my running team.

I'm starting to think that Toothpick Lang is a bust. His 2.8 ypc is scary.

I knew we were going to get beat by Anchorage, but damn we sucked. Oh well, we have a chance to defeat Memphis and go into the bye week with a winning record.

Kudos to Sacramento for making the Phantoms look absolutely stupid.

Wow... rookie TE Wes McGregor is averaging 17.0 ypc after two games.. he already seems to be a favorite target for Maurice Brown..

Yeah, that fumble on your 2 yard line early in the game came back to haunt me. It may be time to bench the rook!

The injuries are piling up for Anchorage.

Sorry about the lack of participation last week...had to make a last minute trip to Seattle for business.
