Good to get another win, even though the defense appeared to coast a bit at the end of the second half. Hartman completed only 17 of 40 passes, but was disturbingly efficient on the long passes (4 of 8 for 126 yds).

Sigh...

I lose in the last two minutes of my IHOF game yesterday and then my CFL game today...

Mother puss bucket...

The injuries are starting to pile up.

To top it all off my team is on a 2-game losing streak.

The bye week couldn't get here fast enough.

This was not a complete Shreveporting, but a Shreveporting nonetheless. We gave this game to you on a silver platter. Granted, your defense stopped our run game pretty well. Here is how we Shreveported ourselves:

-2 Missed Field Goals (48,28 )
-1 Roughing the kicker penalty that kept a drive alive that resulted in a TD
-1 Defensive Holding penalty that kept a drive alive that resulted in a TD
-1 Delay of Game penalty against us when we were in our 'hurry-up' offense
-We declined an Illegal motion penalty against Baltimore, even though they gained 5 yards on us.
-11 penalties for 62 yards (I don't mind the yardage, but the pure number of penalties is hard to take)

Regardless to say, even if we didn't commit these atrocities, there's no guaranteeing that we would have won because Baltimore is a good team. The Rouging-the-Kicker call really grates at me. Louie Reed is going to get a harsh talking-to.

Congrats 3ric. I'll get you next time . . .

God dammit, I know for a FACT that I replaced my sorry ass excuse for a kicker with my stud punter on the depth chart yesterday, but somehow the stupid fuck wound up starting anyways...and missing two fucking field goals in our four point loss. Nothing else on my depth chart appears to have been changed, and I know that I didn't have any holes in the depth chart.

Of course, it wouldn't have mattered if Dustin Hayes knew which team to throw the ball to...that's nine picks over the last two games. And he looked so good after the first two games of the season.

Ah well, at least Fargo keeps on losing...

Damn Defense, Damn QB, Arhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... I have to do something about this, changes are going to be made.

I dont want to take anything away from New Orleans they played a great game but my defense SUX, I mean they have allowed over 800+ yards in the last two games. Just horrible, just plain horrible.

what a game. we drove 93 yards to get the winning score, leaving only 9 seconds on the clock. And of course, Rounds had another great game.

So damn close, as 23-20 loss to Tucson with less than 5 min. left in OT!!!

This would have been a huge upset if I pulled this off.

I would usually be pissed off at the "comback engine" but this one seemed fairly realistic and showed why they were the better team.

On Tuscon's second-to-last possession in regulation (we were leading 20-17), the Toros pinned us at our own 3 yard line. The subsequent stop forces a punt with under 2 minutes to go.

The punt went 48 yards, not bad, and was returned 10, again not outrageous given where we punted from. So, they were set up at the 50.

The game-tying FG was from 48 yards out, so they didn't have to go very far.

Overall, I'm happy with the way my team did.

Congrats, Fonzie!

Now I get another cupcake next week. . . Honolulu!

Cry me a river GI...how would you like to face Tucson and Honolulu twice each year?!

Those rotten bastages.

Oh, and if anyone sees Tanya Harding, tell her I want my money back.

A wild game in El Paso. 3 turnovers in the first 3 possessions. A total of 6 in the game.

[quote958c389] Began Poss From Plays Yards Result
ELP 15:00 0:06 OWN 20 1 5 Fumble
HBE 14:54 0:53 OPP 25 2 3 Interception
ELP 14:01 1:07 OWN 20 3 27 Interception[/quote958c389]

We got the win but it came a a price. We lost last year's first round draft pick (MLB Britt Lucas) to a Broken Tibia for 8 weeks. DE Horace Lindsay to a Pulled Calf Muscle for 6 weeks. LB Arron Kimber to a Pulled Groin for 4 weeks. And the team's best player, S Justin Luck, is questionable with a Sprained Knee for 3 Weeks.

The start of the game was frustrating. Unable to capitalize on turnovers and although we didn't give up many points, we were unable to stop the Rockets offense from moving the ball. That all changed after a 3rd quarter 61 yard fumble return for a TD.

[quote958c389]&Offense: Single-Back Formation, Normal, Strength = Right.
&Defense: 34 Alignment, Man-to-Man (Bump & Run), Pass - Normal.
1-10-ELP27 (07:30) ELP 11 Hayes pass completed to 81 McCrae for 12 yards.
Tackled by HBE 25 Luck.
Ball was fumbled and recovered by ELP 81 McCrae for 61 yards and a touchdown!
Extra point by ELP 14 Sutton was good.[/quote958c389]
LB Tyrone Govan guestioned the manhood of each defensive player and they responded by shutting down El Paso for the remainder of the game.

And you [i10f74e7]should[/i10f74e7] be very proud of how well your team performed - that was a damn tight game that could've easily gone either way. Your defense had a couple of [i10f74e7]huge[/i10f74e7] plays - most noticeably the INT returned 43 yards - and your offense chipped in with a couple of big plays in the passing game. Scared the bejezus out of me, you did.

I was about to jump out of my chair when I saw what turned out to be the very last play of regulation:

TUC 13 Castorena kicked off 71 yards from the TUC30.
ORE 49 Treadway returned the ball 12 yards to the ORE11. Tackled by TUC 93 King.
Ball was fumbled and recovered by TUC 90 Jarrard for 9 yards to the ORE02. Tackled by ORE 56 Gunn.

Damn! Gunn pulled Jarrard down two yards short of a win! And, of course, time expired during the play and we went into OT.

Thrilling game to watch - good god I love 3ric's viewer!

Yes, a [ic34f6d5]very[/ic34f6d5] difficult time indeed! MUAHAHAHAHA!

Why don't you give me a nice paper cut and pour whiskey over it. :)

I didn't lose, but that sunovabitch Fritz McMurray still isn't even doubtful? Damn him to hell, it's a stress fracture. Rub some dirt on it, and get the F back out there.

And you succeeded! :D

I am once again particularly happy with Monty Boyd, who ran for 140 yds and 2 TDs, and added a receiving TD as well. He got robbed of the PotG though...

The easy win was marred by injuries to my starting FB and DT in garbage time though... :(

Next week, part 2 of Detroit takes on the Atlantic division with a game against an underachieving NY team.
