Congrats to Honolulu. It was another weird game. We were tied on yards per rush at 4.0 and we had a decent advantage in yards per pass at 9.2 to their 7.5. The blue pacific absolutely destroyed us on third down, though. They converted 13/17. That is insane.

It was a game of two halves @ Tampa Bay. We were awful in the first half, couldn't get out of our own red zone. Only two turnovers saved us from being down 0-14. Fortunately things improved in the second half.

Problem is, when we were doing well in the first half we couldn't 'close the deal'... several turnovers/miscues close to the red-zone..

Good game.. my rookie QB continues to play like a rookie QB... flashy at some times (i.e. 28 yard TD pass to the rookie TE), and struggle at others...

Nice game Fonzie...

I can sum it up in only one word: Jackpot!

Since the national sports media considers us hated rivals, I thought I would add fuel to the fire.

Another win that wasn't pretty at all. Lorenzo throws three Int's and still manages POG honors. He was also injured, and is doubtful for next week. I'm half tempted to play him next week anyway, since it will be my only chance to win....

A few bright spots:
-Toothpick Lang goes over 100 yards for only the second time in his career.

-Cary Delgado records two sacks. His first two sacks of his career.

After two missed FGs and a missed PAT in my one point loss to Denver, I officially deem my "Use my stud punter as a kicker" experiment a failure...

Thats what I get for not putting in an export, a loss to the previously 0-7 Fargo Boxcars :( Nothing against you Fargo, but that was utterly embarassing and changed my perspective of this team.

Congrats on your first win.

Damn that was a frustrating game to watch. My Toros dominated in nearly every important category: total yards, turnovers, 3rd down conversion, time of possession - everything except the final score. Those two long bombs short-circuited my entire game plan, which had worked perfectly up until the 4th quarter. Well done Lenny (and TurfToe), well done!

(Aside rant: yet [ice6267e]another[/ice6267e] 4th quarter scoring blitz against my Toros?! We were leading 16-7 going into the 4th, and lost 24-16. I doubt that my gameplanning is so bad as to account for this happening so frequently. I swear this game has it out for me. *grumble*)

It appears that a promising 4-0 start to the season is going to go to waste, especially considering that 5 of our last 7 games are on the road (including a 4-game road trip!). That, combined with repeated late-game meltdowns and a huge pile of injuries will likely keep us from even making the playoffs. It may be time to throw in the towel on this season and get the rookies some more game action.

The [b3ccf4dc]Thomas Kuhn[/b3ccf4dc] of old is back, throwing 9 TDs and just 3 INTs in the last two weeks!

Nice way to ease into the bye week.

Woot!

Yes, that final score is one of the more important stats.

I share your pain Fonzie. At least you did that against a QB who has a history of 4th quarter heroics and can win any game if he has 80 yards or less and :40 to :50 left on the clock. I lost to Arizona in that fashion, catapulting them to consecutive wins! Nothing against Arizona but it's not like they have Jackpot on their squad.

My lousy start is starting to be forgotten along with my hopes of a high draft pick. Thanks for sabotaging my 2008 draft strategy.

We played a pretty good game, Hurst finally threw over 200 yards and we won. 34-7
