It's time for us to have another live play-by-play chat! Instead of simming week 11 on Tuesday morning, I will sim it Monday night at 9pm EST. The week 11 schedule is another week where every game is a division game. Central Illinois is a pipe dream, as anything South of I-80 is Southern Illinois, a.k.a. land of the filth-eating hayseeds.  JK. To answer your question, I meant the stateline area and not NIU. My question for you is how does a Packer fan end up in Central IL? Better yet, how does one in Central IL become a Packer fan?

Of course I got from there to here via Chicago (where I lived for 6 years) and Tucson (9 years). Of course, even native Central Illinoisians take note of the shimmering beacon of light, hope, and truth that is the Green Bay Packers football club. I see quite a lot of Packers paraphernalia down here. Yessiree, some bright people down here. But then there are the poor, poor Bears fans...

I for one believe it should be banned in the same manner as the fireworks are in Illinois. You should have to go over the border to find it. |
