Very happy to win a game where we had four fumbles and lost three... we were -1 on takeaways but Barbieri was good today with 364 yds and 4 TDs passing.

Wow FFF. Very interesting game.

24-21 going into the 4th quarter and a whole lot of punting from then on.

Great game though. I hope I don't meet you in the playoffs!

Trailing 17-13 with 1:36 to go, Michael Browning catches the game winning touchdown pass from 39 yards out...but no! Offensive holding on the Bulldogs. Two plays later we convert a 4th and 20 to keep the drive alive, but one sack, one penalty, and three incompletions later the game is over and we lose.

Congrats, varacel!

Good game 3ric- it came down to the end.

20 of 26 for 3 TDs and 1 INT- That cant possibly be Donnie Lowe...someone must have jumped him and played in his place to have a game like that.

Man, a real close loss to HB. Had a TD run called back due to offensive holding, and that really was the game for us.

Great game against the Blue Pacific, but it cost us dearly.

We somehow managed to pull out an undeserved win against Shreveport, despite my coach's just plain weird decision-making (again). I swear that it really isn't worthwhile to bother submitting gameplans to this guy - I had called for a balanced attack, and what does he do? He tosses up 40 passes (only 16 were completed against a tough Shreveport pass defense) against 18 rushes, with many of his pass attempts coming on 1st down. This is inexplicable, as our gameplan wasn't set up that way (especially for 1st down playcalling) and it wasn't as if we were constantly playing catch-up and needed to pass. He even did this while trying to protect a lead late in the 4th:

[code2971001] 1-10-SHR43 (02:39) TUC 4 Hogan pass was dropped by 81 Markey.

2-10-SHR43 (02:33) TUC 4 Hogan pass fell incomplete, intended for 80 Higginbotham.
SHR 98 Lanham hurried the quarterback into a bad throw.

3-10-SHR43 (02:27) TUC 4 Hogan pass fell incomplete, intended for 85 Batchelor.
SHR 20 Groom defended the pass.

4-10-SHR43 (02:19) TUC 10 Riley punted 36 yards from the SHR43.[/code2971001]

Dude, you've got [i2971001]Drew Holliday![/i2971001] Run the damn ball!

What's worse is that he only handed the ball off to poor Drew 9 times! Yet Drew's backup got 7 touches - what the hell is that? They were both so productive that it seemed a no-brainer to keep running the ball, too (overall we were 18-124 rushing). So of course we didn't.

I realize this is an awful lot of bitching from a GM whose team won, but we really shouldn't have won this one. Shreveport happened to be in a giving mood, leaving us +3 in turnovers for the game. If they hadn't been so generous we would've lost this one handily. I tip my cap to thee, Raven Hawk; your team played superior ball this day, but luck didn't go your way.

Bah, your D completely shutdown my offense when it counted, and Mathias threw 4 ints! The Vampires have really been plagued by turnovers this season, which is pretty uncharacteristic of them...

Damn it, now I've got Cleveland and Albany in my rearview mirror again... :x and I get to play them both in the final weeks of this season...

Close game but we pulled it out 13-9. A couple of questionable play calls (given that they didn't work). Early in the second quarter, Boston tries a fake punt on a 4th and 6 on their own 39. The other was late in the 4th quarter, trailing by 1:
[quote50e72cd]4-15-BOS15 (01:30) BOS 1 Ayanbadejo pass completed to 80 Armitage for 13 yards.
Tackled by HBE 25 Luck.
&The quarterback threw away from the double coverage.
The ball goes over on downs.[/quote50e72cd]
I briefly thought about going for it in that situation but you were too deep in your own territory and had too far to go. You also had 3 timeouts.
Another nice day by my secondary with 3 picks.

my team is really sucking. I can't figure out if its because my OL is banged up, Seymour Barre has a lingering injury, or because everyone is loading up to stop Alexis Rounds. Probably all 3. All I know is that after an 8-1 start, its beginning to look like we may be missing the playoffs.

The Good: We won and clinched a non-losing season. Ernest Lorenzo has another solid performance (309 yards passing, 3 TDs with 1 Int) and seems to be the only player keeping us in games. Brady Schneider who has been nonexistent this year at the NT position, landed two sacks.

The Bad: Oregon seemed to be passing at will on our defense. A few key stops saved us, but overall the defense didn't impress me.

The Ugly: 6 different Flats ran the ball, and not a one was impressive. I would like publicly apoligize to Toothpick Lang and wish him a speedy recovery.

And this, my friend, is the definition of being Shreveported. Let's see how I can find a way to lose. Let's throw a pick in the endzone. We are going to create a new tradition. Everytime Hartman throws a pick, all of his O-linemen get to kick him in the dick.

Congrats on the big win! You've proved that you can play with the big boys!

You eliminated me from the division race, and I fully expect you to lock it up next week.

Great job, and again I have to remind everyone that before the season started I picked Anchorage to win it all!

Bring another championship to the Ring of Ice!

Yes, but now that I have an assonative rule, I need an alliterative rule.

Everytime Hartman throws a pick, the punter also gets to punch him in the pelvis.

Not to interupt the hair splitting process, but more to give the fans what they deserve...

Maybe the O-Line could:

Sock him in the sack.

Bop him in his bag.

Jostle his jewels.

Knock his nuts. (Alitteration purists give me a break, it's close enough.)

Bust his balls.

Torque his tweeter.

Wrench his winky.

Dent his dinger.

Crack his cup. (Public Service Announcement: Always wear a cup when participating in contact sports.)

...and a long way to go for an inside joke applicable to only 2 other people in the league and not even close to alliteration or assonance...the O-Line could Wump his Nubby!

Serenity Now!

I just can't win. And to make things worse, Chicago keeps losing. :(

Willie Golalic did pick up another INT to go into a tie for second tho.

At least our performance has somebody unhappy other than me. Shouldve cleaned house 2 seasons back when I took over rather than trying to patch and plug this deal. :D
