Not spoiling anything when saying the AFC got a well deserved freak turn of events to make the messy playoff situation end up with an amazing scenario...

What a perfect end to a horrible collapse. Lost our 7th game in a row. I really need a receiver.

Meh, there goes my dominance over Tulsa. That had to have been an ugly game to watch...

Glad that the season is over. Draft, here we come!

What a crappy way to end the season. I thought we might back our way into the playoffs after watching the Albany and New York games, but no such luck.

Toothpick Lang sealed his fate with the Flats, fumbling twice in this crucial game. One of the fumbles was from the Detroit 02, with a chance to tie the game.

The defense, which is one of the best on third downs, just let the Vampires walk all over them. As I said earlier.... just crappy.

Good luck to the Vampires and FFF in the playoffs

Amazing, Albany and Cleveland both lost to make way for Baltimore in the playoffs. Wo-hoo! Of course, it wouldn't have mattered if not for Jonathan Sill's 55-yd TD run with 4 minutes to go vs Durham...

Spoiled plenty, knew exactly what happened when I read this as I was downloading the file. WOW, I am pissed at this team, rested everyone against Anchorage so I could be healthy to beat Chicago.

The Hitmen have 3 wins this season, 2 came against the Crows in the last minute of each game. McFarland at 100% after resting against ANC threw 3 INTs to bring his season total to 7! Four picks in eleven starts and then gives up 3 in a must win game to Chicago.

Crazy finish to terribly disappointing season. The Crows record in their division:
vs. Detroit 2 - 0
vs. Cleveland 1 - 1
vs. Chicago 0 - 2 dammit.

WE will be in the playoffs next season.

Welp... looks like a top 5 pick for us.. I finally got to dump the two WRs that had big injuries, but it is going to cost me a lot in lost cap next year unfortunately...

Congrats, 3ric. It was quite a finish! I thought I was going to come back and win it, but Kimber's interception ended it. Good luck in the playoffs! Go Atlantic Division!

In Shreveport, we have achieved a successful season. Any season where we go 2-0 against our cross-state rivals, the Raging Whores, is a successful season for Shreveport. Although it won't be as satisfying as last year when we got to knock them out of the playoffs, it was still a good year.

Congrats on the Division crown, Sachmo. Sorry about the injuries and good luck in the playoffs. Represent Louisiana well.

Well, as promised I held out injured starters, put rookies in their place, and cranked down the PT on a number of important players. The result was about what I expected: a 37-6 whipping. And, as has been the game engine's wont this season, I had to suffer some sort of injury punishment: my best WR, Carl Markey, separated his shoulder (despite having his PT down to 1) and will miss next week's WC game.

Rookie 1st round draft pick QB Clarence Lincoln got his first start this week in a 27-16 loss to Santa Cruz. Lincoln had a shaky start but seemed to settle down. Hunting Beach had the lead until 9:12 remaining in the 4th quarter when Santa Cruz capitalized on a Frazee fumble on the HB 25.

Veteran QB Jesus Dennis is still under contract until 2009 and it is expected that these 2 will compete for the starting spot next year.

Has the Clarence Lincoln era begun?

Jesus Dennis is the only member of the 100 interception club. Bring on the kid!

Actually I thought that at how messy it was anything could be concidered a freak turn of events.

The real spoiler was that the eventual scenario was the one I missed in the playoff scenario's thread...

That's what led to Dennis loose his starting job. His 27 interceptions this year have just killed us. Lincoln still has a lot to learn, though.

Great game Wade.... OH YEAH, we have home field for my first Playoff game so 100k people are going to get a special treat. So it's the Bombers who get the pleasure of trying to give us our second home loss of the season. Our Record at home is 7-1 and we are on a 6 game winning streak their. We score 31 points and give up 16 on average in the confines of Ironclad Stadium.

This year we were 1-1 against Baltimore in the regular season. I feel this is going to be a very tough game for both teams and I would have to predict;

Monitors 24

Baltimore 21

We win with a FG late in the 4th quarter.

We may suck but we own you bitches. That win cost you a playoff spot and cost me no. 1 overall pick. I even pulled the developing QB and played the old man to get the win.

Definitely a successful season in Vegas.

2 more wins than last year and I managed to not get swept by Arizona. Woohoo!

Of course, I did suffer a potentially career ending injury to my best T, Morales, who is also a mentor but that's better than losing one of my starting WR's like last year. At least I have more T's...
