Cornerback [bed12ffd]Erwin Koch[/bed12ffd] of the Shreveport Pride was one of twelve players who were designated as franchise players today. Koch is considered one of the best defensive backs in the game, and has been named to the All-League 2nd Team two years in a row. Unless he signs a long-term deal or is traded, Koch will earn $4.5 million in 2008.
