The highest rated prospect in the draft is QB [b7513edb]Johnnie Titone[/b7513edb] from Colorado, but the Phantoms may go a different direction since they selected QB [b7513edb]Colin Sawyer[/b7513edb] at #5 overall last season. Other possibilities are trading down, or selecting one of the two top offensive tackles available: [b7513edb]Craig VanEck[/b7513edb] from Arizona State or [b7513edb]Al Jordan[/b7513edb] from Notre Dame. Long shots for the #1 selection would be LB [b7513edb]Jorge Leone[/b7513edb] from Michigan or WR [b7513edb]Trent Muir[/b7513edb] from Miami. One interesting fact is that if Titone is picked #1 it will be the first time a quarterback was selected first in the CFL draft. After picking Sawyer last year, I'd think a good move would be to get him some more protection. |
