First, the New York Knights selected RB [bbd28e8c]Bill Reyes[/bbd28e8c] from Idaho State and two picks later the Boise Stampede selected RB [bbd28e8c]C.J. Washington[/bbd28e8c] out of Alabama.

To recap the first round, Tampa Bay was the only team with three selections and their picks were:

Three quarterbacks were selected, with Titone at #1, Shannon at #21, and at #31 the New Orleans Raging Horde picked [bbd28e8c]Aaron Henke[/bbd28e8c] from Notre Dame.

The most shocking pick of the first round was made by the Santa Cruz Privateers, when they picked kicker [bbd28e8c]William Lyon[/bbd28e8c] at 27th overall.

Really dont know why everyone says "shocker" by taking a kicker at the 27 spot, highest rated player on the board and a position that can win or lose games. Besides the fact that these drafts seem to be weak every year after the top ten. Just dont get it.
