Well, my 1.30 pick (DT Freddie Shaw) went from a 31/47 to a 12/23. And I traded up to get this guy!?!
:cry:

Yikes. I just noticed that myself. He looks like the only 1st round bust.

P Dean Palmer 59/68 --> 59/68
DE Rob Dawkins 21/45 --> 21/44
RB JC Edwards 28/42 --> 28/38
G Joey Spatz 4/52 --> 5/49
QB Gary Hanson 11/53 -->11/51

Huntington Beach got a huge boom in RB Jorge Riddols. Not sure what he was rated going into the draft but he's now a 50/71. Not bad for a 7th round pick.

Edit: He was drafted by HB. He went to college at Arizona and originally I said he was drafted by Arizona.

1st through 6th round picks no major changes.

CB Clyde Alston 30/63
TE T.J. Green 30/63
SS Christian Sawyer 13/50
LT Grady Lorea 9/51
RB Herman Ameche 24/41
QB Clyde Sall 4/47
RG Glenn Busch 16/45

I think I expected Ameche to be a bit better, so he may be my only bust right now. However, it looks he retained his receiving skills, which is what he was drafted for.

How can you tell what your draft picks have gained or lost?

Damn, I knew I should have taken him at 7.1. He would have solved all my problems. And by all my problems, I mean special teams.

I guess I'll add that none of my guys went up or down more than 1 point, aside from a veteran who went down 6 due to age.

1.19 RG Vince Pete 27/63 >>> 26/65
2.19 MLB Ricky Reardon 13/62 >>> 13/60
3.19 LCB Brock Lyon 17/50 >>> 17/49
4.19 FS Ken Facey 22/52 >>> 21/46
5.19 FL Corwin "Seth" Poole 16/41 >>> 29/56
6.19 TE Marc"Don't Call Me a Pad" Maxcy 27/52 > 26/50
7.19 QB Jon "I'm No Whacker" Talley 7/49 >>> 7/42

I see my usual declines but am very excited about Mr. Poole. This was a CFL draft, right? How did I get a WR to mildly boom?

but I thought Ameche was the best RB in the draft??? :twisted:

He was, just not any more. It was sort of like Edgerin James.

Burn!

Reasonable draft so far

1 RT Casey Huxtable 21-62 to 20-59 -1/-3
2 DE Rusty Knell 28-48 to 29-52 +1/+4
3 OLB Kris Nicholls 23-50 to 24-54 +1/+4
5 WR Daniel PAtino 23-39 to 24-41 +1/+2
7 ILB Deon Flynn 21-42 to 22-45 +1/+3

Was planning to pick Nicholls at end of 2nd round, but thought Knell was too good to pass up. Delighted to see him still in the draft at the end of the 3rd.
Could have been better if Jorge Riddols had slipped to the 'Mr. Irelevent' pick

Almost forgot to mention that my vets fell on their faces again this year. -8/-8 was the worst and had a lot of -6/-6 on the defensive side of the ball. Getting old sucks!

Ther rest of the crew had the hodge podge of +/-1 on current and future but the defensive front seven accounted for another 50-some odd point loss again this year.

Hawk, it appears as though I hit the Jackpot with Poole but I'm hoping Jackpot will be able to hit Poole this year. :wink:

I have no idea what my draftee ratings are right now.

I'll post when I get home tonight.

7th round pick Daryl Witte, a center, went up +7/+12 to 26/57.

2006 1st round bust T Horace Poston went down a further -7 points in future potential.
